The bed in my room was very small.

The hotel is well located in the city, allowing easy access to many locations. Breakfast was simple, but very nice. The staff were very helpful, especially in helping me get an invoice for my stay.

The only complaint is about electrical outlets, there are not enough. I had to choose if i want to use the fridge or TV. I chose the fridge.

For the price, the hotel is extremely good. You could blame the breakfast or bed. But for the budget price i had to pay, Gresi gave me very good value. There was everything i needed. Location is excellent.

Great location and it felt very safe. Room had high ceiling and small balcony. Staff were lovely and kind. Breakfast included with cappuccino made to order. A great option for a short budget stay!

I was there with a friend who is familiar with this Hotel and therefore it was tried and trusted. Modest pricing, clean, daily towel change, light breakfast, excellent central location, with side entrance but our balcony overlooked the main street.

The entrance at street level is a bit of a shock. It looks very rundown but once you get up the elevator to the hotel the reception is OK and the rooms are excellent.

The rooms are large, bathrooms are renovated with great shower. I found the bed quite comfortable. My room had an amazing painted ceiling and they’re throughout the hotel. Very friendly staff.

The entrance is through a door in the gates of a court yard and wasn't imediatly obvious late at night when I arrived. The night staff was grumpy a big contrast to the staff member on in the morning who was lovely.

Its very central location which made exploring Catania easy. It was nice that there were other with single travellers staying there. My room was enormous and had interesting plasterwork on the high ceilings suggesting a heritage property. My balcony had a view of Mount Etna.

The pillows are flat and hard. Not comfortable.

Breakfast was nice with sliced ham and cheese. Yogurt, jams and very tasty coffee. Location is perfect.

On retiring, the room was cold. I switched on the heating but it failed to function, which was inconvenient.

Great location. Just off the famous Via Etnea. Close to the wonderful market and the lively restaurant area. Old fashioned. Located in the first floor but with elevator. 24/7 reception. Nice breakfast. From the balcony of the breakfast room you have the best view of the Etna! Good value for money.

The hotel has a good location on the main street. The facility is not new, but well-maintained. All the equipment in the room is in working order. The room and bathroom are clean. Breakfast was enough. Reception opened 24/7.

The property was in a great location in the city centre, and the atmosphere at the hotel was really nice and comfortable. I liked that my room had a balcony.

The bed in the room I was, was a bit stiff and the pillows a bit too low for my preference. The bathroom had a small window that did not allow proper ventilation in my opinion, but keeping the door open to the room helped a lot.

I really liked the service and the fact that they do have a 24h desk despite the front door being closed (just had to ring the bell and I was talking to Pasqualino =] ) The location is very central and it was easily reachable by a taxi from the airport. Staff is super gentle and caring and they are nice hosts! Recommended for people who wish to have a quick stay at an affordable price!

A great family-run hotel in a historic building, in a central location of Catania. The room was basic, and as expected for the price, but what stood out were the staff at the reception. They kindly let me leave my bags early in the morning, get changed in the washroom, and then leave my bags until late in the next evening. In fact, they kindly offered me a room early in the morning before the check-in time, but I was going to be outside anyway. Limited English conversation but that wasn't a hindrance in providing spectacular service!

Friendly staff, even recommended where to eat for cheap. Location is exactly near Via Etnea, which is near the major attractions Safe even at late midnight Rooms are big, so are the toilets
