Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesI can't think when I've been at a hotel that didn't have an electrical outlet by the bedside tables. This one didn't. This is a massive hotel with zero charm but it is VERY close to the airport.
This hotel is a 10 minute walk via covered walkway to the terminals at Fiumicino Airport or they have a shuttle. If you have an early morning flight, it's a great option. The restaurant is good.

PolandThe check-in/ out process causes huge anxiety, surprise with the €75 deposit nowhere mentioned and it feels like paying the deposit is some gray area... At checkout you are only verbally assured that deposit will be refunded automatically... Which causes huge doubts until it happens only week later.
Average chain hotel, great location with tube connecting to walk straight to the terminal

IsraelThe WiFi did not work and could not be fixed despite continuous attempts to fix it with Hilton telephone support team (spent 15 mins on the line with a person from their centre in Madrid).
Very close to the airport, within 10 min walk. Facilities in the room are overall very good, and breakfast was 10/10. The bed was comfortable with high quality bedding.

AustraliaThe signage to walk to the hotel was very confusing and could do with improvement. Duplicate signs pointing different ways. The room was comfortable, but the door lock was very difficult to use and the shower curtain in the bathroom inadequate, with water spreading on the floor.
The proximity to the airport and the included breakfast buffet was good.

LithuaniaThe premises are not cozy at all (especially lobby) and a little bit outdated (style and etc.). It doesn’t seems as a Hilton hotel. But it’s very convenient to stay there if you have an early flight

IsraelIt has the typical vibe of an aged Hilton business hotel. The rooms are dark and gloomy, and impossible to light up properly. Even the bathroom cannot be lit sufficiently to allow shaving without risk of injury. In the age of cheap LED lighting that is just upsetting.
Walking distance from Terminal 1 and 3, great for early flights. Excellent breakfast buffet with everything you could ask for.

United StatesWhen we arrived, the reception/lobby area was not busy, but the staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other and seemed distracted. After I gave reception my name, I detected a slight air of aloofness. Perhaps he noted we had reserved our room through Booking.com or were not Hilton Honors members? We did not expect elitism or member status at a worn/older Hilton hotel. The reviews regarding the outdated rooms are accurate. The furnishings looked dated (80’s?) and tired. There were several severe scratches on the area where you set your luggage. The vinyl lounge chair and ottoman had tears along the seams. The large mesh office/task chair seemed severely out of place. The room offered a mini fridge with two 3€ water bottles inside. The drapes were held in place with Velcro. I couldn’t figure out how to close them completely for blocking the light and for privacy. Maintenance should look into the plumbing. There are four faucets for the shower. Fairly easy to understand, but each faucet had a different level of water pressure (mostly not enough). Also, the dual button panel for the toilet was only operational in one function (number 2). As other reviewers have stated, don’t expect much value for your money ($303 U.S. for one night) staying here if you’re expecting a higher level of Hilton quality and service. The primary reason for staying here would be the location. It IS convenient if you have an early flight or don’t want to miss your flight going home, as was our case. International travel is stressful enough and the Rome FCO airport is a large city unto itself. “Elige Prudenter”
We chose this Hilton hotel specifically for the close proximity to the Rome FCO international airport. I read the reviews for this Hilton property and knew going in that this hotel was in need of a remodel/facelift, but the location is ideal for the traveler. The king size bed was a welcome sight after traveling through much of southern Italy and small rooms. Nice bedding and linens. The bath towels are quite large and good quality. Decent sized closet with safe for your valuables. The complementary shuttle to our departure gate was much appreciated. The vehicle was new and the driver was courteous and friendly.

United StatesRooms were a little outdated. Use of the pool required having a swimming cap or buying one from the hotel which may be a normal thing in Europe but was a surprise to us. The pool could use an update as well.
Proximity to the airport was great for one night before a long international flight. Executive lounge access came with snacks and drinks. Breakfast buffet was great with a lot of options.

United StatesIt's a very old hotel. It needs updates. Fortunately we were only there for a half a day but for $350 a night we felt that was a bit ridiculous and of course there's a no cancel policy.
