I don’t think it lives up to a three star hotel. Our shower had fluctuating water temperatures and the water only got warm enough for us on one day. The furnitures are scuffed and the amenities such as soap/shampoo is very limited. The bed is very hard. Our room didn’t have functional electric sockets in the wall. The holes were far too small for anything with a never plug to fit. We had a kettle in the room that couldn’t plug into the wall sockets. So we had to take out the tv and bed side tables in order to charge our phones. The bathroom had one wall socket that couldn’t fit my standard EU Dyson hair tool. All the sockets are old and outdated.

The staff is friendly and very helpful. The cleaning staff was very nice and had on several occasions both folded and hung up my boyfriend’s t-shirts that had been on the bed or on the table outside. Breakfast was good as well. A wide selection of cold cuts and pastries. No warm meals. However wide selection of coffees in the bar and breakfast staff was also very nice. Our room was very small but had an amazing view over the sea which made up for the fact that our luggage barely fit in the room. Very nice area in Praiano, close to the path of gods and the bus stops. And only a small walk to everything in Praiano.

Breakfast was outstanding. Location in Praiano was perfect in terms of access to other villages in the Amalfi, but without the crush of tourists. And Praiano is a very lovely village to visit on its own. Staff at Holiday Hotel were super helpful and friendly. Appreciated the free onsite parking.

Our room was quite stuffy and warm. The central AC system (preset temperature) didn’t cool much. We had to leave balcony door open to air out and cool the room.

The location—overlooking the sea coast—is the big draw for this hotel. Our room had a small balcony with a couple of chairs and table to enjoy the view. Breakfast was a buffet style spread with good variety, though no hot foods. Nice terrace setting for enjoying breakfast.

The air con only gets cold enough to keep you from melting, but not cold enough to be comfortable!

Amazing staff, fab breakfast, gorgeous view, comfortable bed. Good cleaning staff & daily room cleaning. They made us feel super welcome and it was right near some amazing restaurants

The receptionist was a little snitty at times.

Location, view, breakfast and room were all great. As our main purpose for staying was to hike the Path of the Gods, this hotel was the perfect location for that. We were able to access the trail right from our hotel. There were plenty of good restaurants in the area and since we arrived by bus, it was only half mile from the main bus stop. Overall, it was a great stay.

The air conditioning was terrible. We complained several times. It was bearable during the night but I think they shut it off during the day which made it unbearably hot. The breakfast was exactly the same every day. The attitude of the woman at the front desk, who apparently was the owner, was terrible. She responded in a sarcastic manner. Several people complained about her. One night at 2:00 a.m. she got into a screaming match with one of the guests that lasted one hour.

The view was great. The breakfast was adequate. The location was pretty good. The local bus stopped right in front of the hotel. The woman who served coffee at breakfast was lovely as was Omar at the front desk. They had free parking right beside the hotel which was excellent.

Nothing really. Maybe a bug shield/door on the balcony door would help help some of the mosquitos out. But we really enjoyed our stay and would book again if returning to the area. Lots of steps in the area, hard in 34 degree heat

Great Panoramic view from the hotel terrace!! All staff at the hotel and very hard working, always available and are very friendly and informative. We found them great, they gave us loads of tips and were very friendly and approachable. Great breakfast with lots of options - fresh fruit, meats, pastries, cakes cheeses, olives etc. Hotel located within walking distance to beach, bars, restaurants. Scooter rental right across from the hotel and bus stop located right outside the door of the hotel. Beach also within walking distance with a short cut option available (ask at the hotel). Room was very clean, a good size and good shower. Room balcony was a good size with 2 lounge chairs. A lovely quite town, good for couples and families. not really a big nightlife but that's not what we were looking for. close to both Amalfi and Positano which can be reached by bus service or on scooter (we rented a scooter for a day)

I do wish the air conditioning was a little better. If they decide to change anything that might be a good investment. But we loved the hotel and owners. We would like to stay longer.

Loved the delicious breakfast in a beautiful room with a fabulous view. The special cappuccino and coffees were made to order. The juices and pastries…. Oh my goodness. Wonderful. Our room was very artsy. Lovely tile work and the terrace really made the room. We loved it. It made our stay special. The location was great. You can walk to one of the beaches by way of a beautiful path with special artwork affixed to the rick mountain. Little grocery store a hop away to get snacks if you want fir a picnic. Restaurants nearby. Sweet and helpful staff

So expensive! I’m sure all properties on the Amalfi coast are very expensive, but it wasn’t cheap! Fridge wasn’t very cold (this must be an Italian thing).

The views we incredible! The location was also pretty great. Staff were all fabulous! Room was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was delicious!
