How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Verified reviewThe hotel is super close to the beaches, it’s just 2-3 minutes of walk to the nearest beach. Before you arrive to that beach, there is a busy street with all the shops you need (supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies,..). The rooms are clean and modern, and the hotel is a smart hotel. The staff was the best thing about the hotel, they are very nice and helpful, there is always a kind attitude and making sure you are having a good time. The one thing that made me trust the hotel more was that they definitely take these reviews seriously. Before going there I read the comments where many people saying that they were not satisfied by the breakfast for it being small, and that was something they have changed. They had a really nice buffet breakfast for a cheap price. At the end of our stay, they gave us a 10% discount for incase we want to come back again, and we definitely do! If we go to Rimini again, we won’t be looking for another hotel.

Verified reviewWe really enjoyed the overall vibe. The hotel was very pretty, and the staff were absolutely amazing and very helpful. Breakfast was also very good. A big plus is the location itself. Whether you prefer spending time on the beach or exploring the city, it's up to you. Nothing is really far away in terms of walking distance.

Verified reviewThe hotel is located a minute away from the beach, the room looked like in the picture and there is plenty place to sit and chill outside at night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you go by car I don't suggest parking in front since you have to pay 24/7 and from couple of minutes away you can find parking for 8€/day, you can ask the staff for help

From the moment I arrived, I felt an instant connection with the staff. The bubbly receptionist who welcomed me, whose name, regrettably, I’ve forgotten, was one of the best I’ve encountered anywhere. She wasn’t just helpful; she made me feel like a longtime friend. It’s rare to find that kind of hospitality, and it truly set the tone for my stay. The hotel offers complimentary bicycles for short-term use, which was a fantastic way to explore the surrounding area. And the location itself? Unbeatable. Right in the heart of the action, with everything just a short walk or ride away. Convenience is clearly a priority here. A Starbucks-branded coffee machine is available for a quick caffeine fix, and there’s a well-stocked vending machine so you won’t find yourself stepping out late at night just for snacks or essentials. Breakfast is delightfully well-thought-out. Delivered in a neat little box, it includes a perfectly fresh croissant, some crisp cereal flakes, and other goodies. Simple, satisfying, and far more personal than a generic buffet. Overall, this hotel isn’t about bells and whistles, it’s about smart service, unbeatable location, and a level of genuine warmth that you just can’t fake. I left with a smile and every intention to return. I also left a 10/10 review on google that shows how much I loved this place and the people taking care of it and the guest.

There is a reconstruction in the building. Impossible to sleep after 8:00 am in the morning because of noise. Difficult to clean your room after 14:00. No enough space to sit and relax in the lobby. At least, they should put one bottle of water in the room but they did not think this.

Verified reviewIt was clean, lots of light in the room and a good sized bathroom. Room freshened up daily. The staff were the highlight! With out a handful of them being as cheery as they are, this place was a real dive.
There were renovations on going which weren’t advertised. There’s no where to make coffee or tea for free, it’s not available in your room - so it’s a paid Starbucks machine down stairs which doesn’t cater to dairy intolerance. I requested oat milk in the room and was charged for a bottle pointlessly as I’ve previously mentioned there’s no way to make a drink in your room. The breakfast was single use everything and again didn’t cater to a lot of dietary requirements. Paperwork cups, cutlery, single serve everything. The property is advertised with balcony and sea view, we had neither despite the description. Having to pay a city tax on the first night of arrival which wasn’t advertised to us, plus being charged for the first day despite arriving at 23:30.

You booked a Roomie Cosy with a French bed, as described on Booking.com, and not the Roomie XL with partial sea view. On the same platform, we also clearly specify the details of the breakfast, which is designed to be simple and sustainable, and served with single-use items for hygiene and operational reasons. Regarding the oat milk, you specifically requested a bottle of oat milk, which we purchased on your behalf. Therefore, we charged you only the €3 cost of the bottle, no more than that. As for the city tax, it is a mandatory municipal fee applied throughout Italy and is always payable locally at check-in or check-out. It is also mentioned during the booking process. Since you arrived at 23:30, it was still the same calendar day of your arrival, and the tax applied correctly from that day.
