I reserved a room for a romantic three day trip. At our arrival we were showed an apartment with s kitchen an old couch and a single bed. The bedroom was in the upper floor (loft style). The lady showing the place ( no the owner) kept staying that it was a free upgrade..when I pointed out that we did not want an apartment..and the additional bed and the rest of the living room looked a bit shabby..I was told that the room was overbooked and it was an error of Booking.com.. the view is just perfect right on the lake from every windows.. important the flat is on the top floor (3rd) without elevator and kind of steep stairs.. it can be an issue for people with limited mobility or of carrying heavy suitcases. It was not our case. .

Excellent location. It can't get any better. Clean place. The restaurant ( fabulous) was on the lower floor so super convenient.

Very noisy at night, make sure to bring earplugs! And be careful, the reception is not always open, you need to warn them what time you are coming so that someone comes to bring you a key.

My room was what I must call "basic" - a bit like a hostel rather than a hotel. I didn't mind, though, as the staff were lovely.

The location and the fact that the staff were really friendly and helpful. It was very relaxed. The giew from my room over Lake Maggiore was spectacular.

In the heat, it was uncomfortable without air conditioning, but we were not promised it) It was noisy in the evening, and in the morning there was also noise from the street, but it didn't bother us much. Maybe I wouldn't have come here with small children because of the noise.

There is no A/C. Unfortunately we were there on a very hot day and it was difficult to sleep in the night. The bathroom is in the attic and bath tub is under the low and sloped roof. It was very difficult to shower.

The location is perfect, just by the lake and the apartment itself has a wonderful view of the lake. The host was really friendly. Check-in went smoothly and the host gave tips and suggestions for the region.

The building is old, but windows newly constructed. The situation was noisy, but less than expected.

Situation was good and view on the lakeside beautiful. Breakfast was not available. Food/dinner in the restaurant was delicious. The staff was very friendly and professional.

I think the price was quite high for the amenities we got. The room was on the smaller side, the bathroom had just a shower and no bath. And we were given no soaps or any toiletries.

The staff was lovely and they were always helpful. Also the view from the rooms was lovely. And the breakfast was very nice. I really enjoyed the fact that we could rent their bikes for free. That was a saviour because the hotel is not near anything.

It wasn’t about the property itself, and also not negative necessarily, but we were there exactly on the 15 of august, where the whole Italy is in celebration, so the whole town was loud till quite late in the night.

It was an amazing location, the facility itself was super nice, an Apartment spread on 2 floors, so my kid loved it had an interior staircase. Very clean, all we needed was there, complementary water, soft drinks and Nespresso coffee tabs. The view is spectacular, looking over the lake.

Nothing - everything was great.

It was slightly eerie being the only guests in an empty hotel but this was only because we booked at the last minute and our one night stay was on a day when the hotel is normally closed. But the room was great, the view of the lake exceptional, and the check-in help (by phone) worked out very well. All in all, it was a very comfortable stay.

As there is no aircon, it can get very hot in the summer. The provided fan helps though.

Worth it just for the view! Otherwise - a very lovely accommodation, well equipped, comfy & clean. Hosts are super friendly and accommodating, gave great sightseeing tips and how best to park. Check-in & check-out was smooth & easy. And do try their restraunt! Among if not the best in town! Plus an unbeatable view. Just superb!

No A/C, a bit smelly room. But the worst thing was the noise! Some youngsters partied till 2 a.m. with motorbikes and shouting all the time. After that trash cars, collecting trash and breaking glass trash...imposible to sleep. The isolation of sound was so poor. No sleep is guaranteed :)

We were unlucky to have timed our stay at the same time as some minor local road improvement works, but completely outside the control of where we stayed, and had a negligible impact on our trip.

Thanks to Matteo for a warm welcome and incredibly useful, friendly introduction to the area and attractions we might find interesting. We loved the spacious split-level apartment which has amazing views across Lake Magiorre and The Alps. Perfect location with a number of bars and restaurants on the doorstep, and a supermarket a stones throw away that we used to stock the fridge and cook occasionally in the apartment. A two minute walk to the ferry for trips to Intra if you want somewhere more lively, a two minute walk to the funivia lift up the mountain, and amazing views walking back down along the mountain path. We were made to feel welcome everywhere, even with our lack of any Italian language skills. Also easy parking either outside the hotel if lucky, or free parking down a number of side roads. We'll definitely go back.o
