Breakfast buffet was rather poor in terms of choice. Internet although advertized was non-existent, and if, then only at the reception. Probably due to its location, the etire building smelled of mould. When we entered our room it smelled obnoxiously of cleaning detergent. Staff in general is not very pleasant. No smiles.

The view from the room is stunning!

A rather basic 4-star hotel, but with an excellent view towards the sea. From every room! The room provided a basic comfort needed for spending your time at the beach (ok bed, ok amenitie). In the vicinity, you can enjoy a swim in the perfect waters of the bay in front of the hotel (beach is not great, but bay is fantastic) or you can go for a gorgeous sandy beach close by at Is Arenas. Breakfast is very good compared to the Italian standard. Staff is nice and helpful.

They appeared to turn the aircon down at night. This meant that it got very warm and uncomfortable in our bedroom.

The breakfast was very nice and the location was stunning. The staff were also very diligent and helpful.

We booked half board and found the evening meal served very disappointing so chose to eat out twice during our weeks stay. No where in hotel to sit and have a glass of wine/beer other than the sitting room provided for guests. This was sadly uninviting/functional and rarely used.

Views from the hotel were great and the location was spot on for touring the West coast. Could walk down to the local coastal village within 5mins which had a small selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel was very clean and bedrooms well appointed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, views from the restaurant and the tranquility of the hotel and surrounding area.

The location of this hotel is absolutely amazing. Incredible beach less that 300m away, and lots of other beaches equally beautiful all within a short drive. Lots of traditional agriturismos around for a taste of Sardinia. The view from the rooms are also amazing and all the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. No problems whatsoever and will definitely be coming back. Would highly recommend visiting Il Pesca Tore Ittiturismo (a fish restaurant - one of the best on the island) whilst you are out there, needs to be booked well in advanced but me and my girlfriend both agreed that we have never eaten a better meal.

Frenkly speaking just one thing :-) Reception is at your disposal 24hours per day, but when you call there: "Sorry, no English"...))) I mean staff is fine, welcomed, friendly etc, but no english....that's really strange. we were there during EURO2016 - so, I'd like to watch the game in my room, but most part of channels were not work (basic satellite package or someting - I do not know). So, in Hotel La Baja during EURO 2016 - no football and no english :-))

The main advantage of that hotel is "the view". Beautiful sea-view, and a beach 5 min by walk from the hotel. Good breakfast. Dinner is also very okay, a bit overpriced but okay for a hotel dinner. Rooms are nice. Swiminng pool is good. Enough place for everybody, however it is not a "huge hotel" which I really love.

The doors to the different areas, like eating area, outdoor area, the stairs etc. are really noisy. If you are staying on the ground floor (and if you are not an early riser), get ready to be woken up every morning by slamming doors, when the first people go for breakfast. Same in the evening, until everybody's gone to bed... Who would put such noisy doors right next to the guest rooms?

Great location, with wonderful vista. Staff was lovely, very friendly and always helpful. Amenities and room furniture are a little bit antiquated, but everything is well maintained and works perfectly well. Beds are comfy (at least for light people). During the night, it is very peaceful and quiet.

The location is great, splendid view of the bay, the beach and the see. Both from our room as from the (big) swimmingpool . Hotel itself is not special, no authentic detail, just any other modern hotel. The rooms are rather small. The receptionstaff was very helpful. The village sta Catarina is of no interest, only vacational homes, it seems, but there are two pretty good restaurants.

Breakfast limited (not unusual in Sardinia), pool is lovely but underdeveloped. Did not serve snacks, drinks poolside. The hotel doesn't do lunch. Evening meal, quality good but over priced. Limited activities around so may not suit everyone. Atmosphere a little dead (probably guest dependent).

Staff very friendly and helpful. Isolated area with few restaurants etc so not for everyone, but spectacular sea views from all rooms. Looking at the stars and listening to the ebb and flow of the waves, perfect for relaxing, recharging and getting away from it all.
