The location was great for us. The Assisi town is beautiful and in that smaller area, there is just so much to see and do. We visited in March so I imagined it would be even busier in the higher season. Our hotel was great, family run establishment and everyone was so polite, helpful and helped direct us with maps to some sights we shouldn't miss. Given the short stay, it was very good to have that piece of information. The people in the town like restaurants and shops were equally helpful and the sights were just awesome. Our needs were met and would stay at Hotel Pax should we travel back to visit.

The hotel was quaint and charming… after all, the original building was constructed in the 14th century. But the bathroom was updated, the lift was modern, the room was spotless and very quiet. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about Hotel Pax.

The location is so accessible to churches and restaurants and not to forget the security ( a police station as their neighbor).

The bed was a little too hard for our liking. Basic breakfast.

The proprietor and staff were all excellent and helpful. You can tell the care that they had for their property. Location was convenient to walking to St. Francis Basilica and other churches we wanted to visit. Very convenient to a lovely piazza. It was also a few meters from the church of St. Mary Maggiore where we were surprised to see Blessed Carlo Acutis’ nearly incorrupted body.

The hotel is simple, cozy, beautiful with a very tasty breakfast and just few steps to the centre of Assisi. I strongly recommend the place to everyone thinking about going to Assisi. Clean, well-appointed rooms, delicious breakfast, and expert information on what to see and how to get around town (in English) including a welcome to dine at their own family restaurant, which should not be missed. Hotel Pax is a family-run hotel. My wife and I were given so much kind help by Mr. Antonio Scalioti and his dear family during our stay. The hotel is very charming. It’s perfectly located in the old area of Assisi. Our room was small but very nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel has a restaurant right around the corner and we chose to have our dinner there. It was delicious! We can highly recommend eating there. And their desserts are all home made! Thanks to the Scalioti family for making our stay in beautiful Assisi such a wonderful experience.

Great location, easy to walk around to all the main attractions in the area. The building was old and historic. They kept everything clean and simple. Great value for the price!
