Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesI sent emails to the property before my visit but there was no response. These were important as I asked questions about getting there. I called the hotel twice two days before arriving but said wrong number. I had the staff at a hotel I was staying at to call and they couldn’t get through either. This needs to corrected as it was my first time visiting your hotel and is in a unique location. We arrived at the train station with no idea where to go. I asked a young man named Simon if he knew where to go. Well he sure did! If it wasn’t for him we would have never made it. It turned out he works there and was exceptionally helpful. We thanked him 3 times. You should give him a raise for going above and beyond for your hotel. Also the price for the trip down the hill was very steep at 200 Euros, had to negotiate it down to 100. They were soaking guests at that price.
The breakfast was amazing! The view was stunning. The veal dinner was life changing and unforgettable. The salad with egg yoke dressing was delectable as was the rye bread. That bread was the best rye bread I have ever eaten. The staff were incredible helpful. The Wyda walk was very special, the exercises were so incredible. The 5 saunas were very special. We enjoyed all of them and the ice cold bath. The fireplace was beautiful and the staff were incredible. This was my very first 5 star hotel but won’t be my last. I will be returning in November for the slow period as less people and a lower price. Keep up the good work, word of mouth is working for you.

ChinaAmazing hotel and stay. I’d love to thank all the Forestis team, especially Mr Hannes, who was super kind in helping us out of the trouble when our car tier went flat in the mid way of the mountain road. Very impressive experience.

United KingdomFrom the moment we arrived at Forestis, it was clear this was no ordinary stay. Nestled high in the Dolomites, the location alone is breathtaking—but it’s the exceptional staff and world-class facilities that truly set this hotel apart. Every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our experience unforgettable. Whether it was the seamless check-in, personalised recommendations, or small thoughtful gestures throughout our stay, the staff consistently went above and beyond. The facilities are nothing short of spectacular. The spa is a sanctuary—modern, expansive, and perfectly designed to melt away stress. The infinity pool overlooking the mountain range was a highlight, and the wellness treatments were deeply restorative. Dining at Forestis is an experience unto itself: locally-sourced, artfully prepared dishes in a serene setting with panoramic views. Our suite was a perfect blend of minimalist luxury and alpine charm, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering uninterrupted views of the forest and peaks beyond. Forestis is the epitome of quiet luxury, where nature, design, and service harmonise effortlessly. We left feeling truly renewed and can’t wait to return.

United Arab EmiratesWhile the overall experience was incredible, I found the lunch and dinner food options a bit limited, and the pricing felt on the higher side. A bit more variety would definitely elevate the dining experience.
Forestis is pure serenity. The stunning mountain views, thoughtful design, and exceptional service made our stay unforgettable. Every detail felt intentional, and the staff’s warm hospitality made it even more special. Can’t wait to return.

RomaniaFirst of all the amazing view from our panoramic window was amazing, more than amazing. Then we really enjoyed our private table at the restaurant as well as the very professional spa. Also the staff was very helpfull and kind, the front yard big enough for enjoying the snow. They also have a variety of products as soaps and syrups made from pine and spruce that smell or taste amazing.

United KingdomThe drive to the hotel from Brixen is quite long and tiresome. I suspect when it snows heavily, it’s hard to drive it. Just something to be aware of. Of course, the reward is the beautiful view.
The pool really is excellent, and such a sun trap. The sunset was out of this world. It was never too full even on Valentine’s Day when the hotel seemed to have had high occupancy. Loved the lactose free selection at breakfast and again the views. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience and that makes it worth it.

RussiaA 7 courses set was really overestimated and too much for us. We liked the food from the regular all day menu much more.
Outstanding design, concept and ambiance. Can’t imagine giving this hotel anything less than a 10. Impeccably clean spa zone, great relaxing activities, everything was so picturesque for me that I felt sorry that it’s impossible to take pictures with my own eyes, cause I didn’t wanna carry my phone around.
