Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

NetherlandsAirconditioning was verry dirty and almost broken but it works. Also the toilet make some noise when you sit on it. And the location to find the hotel the first day was not easy because it's not on the streetvieuw.

The woman who prepared breakfast was so lovely she helped us. They allowed us to leave our luggage after check in time. 24 hours reception is an advantage because we arrived at 20 pm and we were able to late check-in.

SwitzerlandIt's very difficult to find the hotel although you are nearby, it's not like any other hotel with main enterence. There is very small board "Hotel Arcadia" on the wall which can't be seen easily. Very complicated to reach on the second floor to reception desk. There is no day light in the room and it's very small.

Close to the station. Breakfast was good. The staff were pleasant and helpful and we were able to leave our bags after check out. Building security is good and there is a lift. It was not too far to walk to most main attractions.

United StatesIf you have lots of luggage, you will need to go up a flight of stairs before being able to use the elevator that takes you to the hotel. The location also feels empty when you are walking back from the city. No tourists walking around. The train station steps fill with many young locals who are drinking or doing drugs. Not the hotels' fault, but something to take into consideration if you are planning on staying out late and then walking back to the hotel.
The served a pretty normal continental breakfast. This would include pastries, boiled eggs and coffee. The location allows you to walk to the tourist locations in Florence. Very close to the train station which connects you to Rome or Florence. The rooms were comfortable to sleep in.

CanadaNo long mirror & lack of hangers. The second night after a day outing, we returned to the hotel & had a bad surprise - our room door was wide open! I reported to the night reception who said he will review the camera & let us know what happened. But we never got any reply. Luckily, nothing was stolen!
Convenient to walk to the Santa Maria Novella train station & the City Center of Florence where all the main attractions are. Breakfasts were included which was nice. Room was spacious.
