The only thing I didn't like was the level of street noise. We were on the third floor facing Via Rasella and there was a lot of evening street activity -- primarily because of its great location. Granted, it was made worse by the fact that I have to sleep with the window cracked open, but if noise bothers you I suggest either booking a few floors up or bring some earplugs.

The breakfasts were absolutely wonderful. An extra bonus is that the breakfast area has a wonderful view off the city and in the evening it turns into the perfect spot to have a drink and watch a wonderful sunset.

The hotel was in a good location for us (2 adults and a 3 year old)-a 15 minute walk to the Termini train station and close to some beautiful parts of the city. The view was lovely- overlooked the street and entrance to the Barberini Palace. We enjoyed unwinding in our room after our time out and about. The staff were all very kind. My favorite was the rooftop restaurant/bar! The view brought tears to my eyes! I was so glad to have a spot to get some small plates/flatbread pizza and a cocktail without having to wander around town searching for somewhere good to go to. It was a special spot to unwind at the end of the day AND have breakfast and start the day out. There were many options for the breakfast (juice, pastries/bread, jam, fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and a separate menu where they would make hot breakfast items (eggs, waffles, etc.). I will also add that I booked this room about 5 months in advance which significantly reduced the cost and made this an affordable option for us.

Our shower leaked but they changed out room the next night.

The location of the hotel was perfect- walkable to Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and the Colleseum. A supermarket just down the hill and a small fridge in the room to keep drinks and food cold. The room was spacious for Europe and the breakfast was Divine! The view from the roof was amazing as well.

The size of the room is certainly common for Italian standards - meaning - funny... But if you accept to do some magic tricks for placing the suitcase in the room - then OK, you will handle it.

The location is excellent, city center attractions are minutes away, Barberini metro is just few steps away, the hotel was very clean, all the staff were very helpful - BUT big praise to Laura from breakfast hall, she was really, really great, the breakfast was great and having a small balcony was really a pleasure.

I love Hotel Barberini! This was my third stay at the hotel. It has become my go-to hotel whenever I am in Rome. It has a great location, wonderful staff, and excellent breakfasts. The beds are comfortable as well.

The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. We arrived a day later than expected and to make up for it they gave us free breakfast. The room and bathroom were very clean, with great decor and tall ceilings. The breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our time.

This hotel was a big surprise for us. Nearby everything, but very quite zone. Amaizing staff. We arrived in afternoon and a young boy with glass was in reception. Very smart and cute. He made us check in for 3 min. Upgrade room to junior suite, lucky us. and than we went in rooftop bar, the prices was incredibile cheap. Breakfast was for 5stars hotel. I like every single detail.

After first day the Tea/Coffee making facilities were not restocked.

Location, size of room was good, size of bathroom was good. Furnishings were good. Sound insulation was good. Umbrellas at the door for the unexpected rain were excellent.

The beds were very uncomfortable. We were moved after our first night as it was like trying to sleep on concrete. Also, no A/C working - the room was stuffy, so you had to sleep with the window open, and the street was noisy

The location was fantastic, so near to everything, the staff were very nice and helpful. They gave us a bottle of prosecco and chocolates on Valentines Day. Breakfast was good and the view from the restaurant was fabulous.

The room was uncomfortably hot, even after turning down the thermostat and opening the door to the balcony we still woke up during the night too warm to sleep.

Centrally located, friendly helpful staff, we were offered a discount for the hotel bar. Our room on the 5th floor had a small balcony and nice view.
