The red color of the bed cover didnt make it look very clean. It is a bit difficult to find at first because you need to enter from a small one way street.

The bathroom is updated and quite big. Location is also good, on the edge of the centre, not too far walk from the main attractions and yet its quiet with plenty of parking in front. Front office staff was also very helpful in providing restaurant suggestions.

The room offered did not have a shower only a bath (our fault for not specifying)) and because there was no other available, the staff went to great lengths to fix us up at a near by sister hotel Albergo San Domenico at the same rate for which we were very grateful. Both Hotels are very good and we would have no hesitation in recommending either.

The English of the staff could have been better.

Tidy room, but only a small room, but in walking distance to the center; breakfast very good, but not included in the price, which makes the stay much more expensive - you pay 11 euros even if you eat a very small one; the staff should tell this before, and there is no option of a smaller breakfast.

I had a room with a modern bathtub and was super to have some relaxing moment. Bed was comfortable enough and room quite. The location is good because it's close to the university but as many places in Urbino not easy to access with heavy luggages.

We were informed the check-in was at 14, but I find odd that the Holte is closed until that time.

My little baby forgot her teddy bear on the bed and the staff worked really hard to find a way to get in touch with us.

The hotel is at the bottom of the town, fine for us but beware if you don't enjoy walking up steep hills! The parking is in the centre of town is secure and costs extra. The free wifi wasn't available from our room location.

No air-conditioning - we were told it was not hot enough yet. Hand-held shower on deep free-standing bath. Breakfast items, including bread rolls, not replenished.

The staff was extremely nice, the breakfast was EXCELLENT--! EVERYTHING you can think of was offered in a lovely old fashioned- setting ( and in the summer you can choose from different small, outside sitting areas.- the flowers were already bought, but the nights were still frosty)- We were able to park right outside the hotel a MIRACLE in an ancient town in Italy .

Hmmmm..... having to leave. Room was called "business", not sure what that was?! That there was a desk?

The view, the location, the breakfast and the beds. We could park right in front of the hotel (cost 6 €). Not sure if this is always possible. Probably depends on number of guests staying at the hotel.

Due to a large group, there was very little breakfast left. We were also told that we couldn't eat in the restaurant in the evening because of the group. We knew we would have a long journey to Urbino and deliberately chose a hotel with a restaurant. In the end it didn't matter due to the close proximity of restaurants in town, but this hotel does not cope well with individual travellers when it has large groups.

The bathroom was recently and beautifully refurbished.

It was tricky to get to, even with a Google map and directions from the hotel! Coming from the North, you need to enter via the third city gateway and then turn into the very first left turn (although it looks impossibly narrow!).It's a one way cobbled road following the city wall, but there is very little traffic so it's fine once you have found it!

A lovely, small characterful hotel on the outer walls of Urbino overlooking the countryside, but only a five minute walk into the town .centre.. Our room had a beautiful view and there was a luxurious spa bath in the bathroom.

We spent one night in the lovely old town of Urbino and were very comfortable in the Hotel Bonconte. It is only a short walk (uphill) to the main part of town. The room was very comfortable and we had an amazing bathtub with powerful jets of water that eased sore muscles! The breakfast was ample and very good. I would recommend staying here, particularly as it's easy to find, and you can park your car right out front for an additional fee (well worth it).

Again we had a room with a bathroom which had no shower but only a corner bath. I have been advised for my next visit i should request a shower room and I will get it. This was the only problem we had.

This was our second visit to Bonconte and this time we were with friends taking up three rooms. The welcome was friendly and helpful ( thank you Patrizia). This hotel is in the best possible location for a visit to Urbino and has parking. The two single rooms delighted our friends and all were air-conditioned and cool.

Reported broken bin at Reception, but nothing done. Dining room closed, with no reason being offered. Receptionist seemed rather uninterested in us.
