We are more than happy to learn that you completely enjoyed your stay at Brunelleschi and that you have enjoyed the comfort of our Hotel ! Thank you for your kind word referring to the atmosphere and the décor of the Hotel Brunelleschi: it has been completely refurbished in 2013, adding modern shapes to the ancient buildings of the ‘Pagliazza Tower’, the ‘San Michele in Palchetto’ Church and a third facing Via Calzaiuoli, that together compose our property. Our Hotel is located in the very Heart of Florence, and we are deeply sorry that you had difficulties to reach us . We have on our web site, a section ‘ where we are’ , but possibly our indications and map are not enough to reach easily the hidden heart of the city: our Concierge is always at disposal to ‘drive’ our Guests to the Hotel , once in Florence. We understand that you enjoy the location of the hotel: the floor map of the Hotel is due to the historical origin of the buildings forming the Brunelleschi: the Pagliazza Tower, the oldest Tower in the city, the Church of San Michele in Palchetto, actually lobby of the Hotel, and three ancient Hotels facing Via Calzaiuoli and Piazza del Giglio. Our Architect planned the corridors trying to respect the concepts of accessibility and linearity; therefore, she decided to add a lift to connect the different buildings without any architectural barrier. We thank you for your kind words regarding the hotel and we are pleased to understand that the location of our hotel made it even more enjoyable: the location is perfect in the heart of Florence and normally quiet as well where guests can enjoy a relaxing stay with soundproof rooms the guests satisfaction is our best prize. We are deeply sorry to read that you were not able to relax during your stay in Florence: the glasses and gaskets of our windows are soundproof, as well as the doors. The soundproof level is enough to avoid the usual noises from the street, but eventually, not enough for some specific situations. We have introduced for our Guests the earplugs, added into the apartment, to ensure the most comfortable night experience.
