Noisy from the outside

Nice, comfortable stay at (10 minutes) walking distance from downtown To be honest they told me that I got an upgrade so I'm not really sure what price/quality ratio would be with my original booking (standard room) but the bigger 3 person room I had was great and value for money (3 nights mid week euro 220)

Only to have a coffee maker and refrigerator (but they weren't promised either).

Nice, spacious, clean room with high ceilings and a comfortable bed. Walkable to the tourist center but far enough to be away from the crowds. The good included breakfast was at the restaurant next door. There was a kettle and tea/coffee bags in the room but would have been nice to have a pod type coffee maker and also a refrigerator.

The room we stayed, 112, is very noise at night with cars driving by on the slab paved loosely road next to the window, Via Santa Reparata. Every car drives by, you will feel like rolling thunder on your ear. It becomes less after mid night, but isn't completely disappeared. And it will come back in the morning after 4,5 when people starts to move around. After the first night, we thought it might be just a one time incident, so we decided to give it a chance. Then the following days our schedule are fairly packed, after we went back the hotel, usually it's 8, even 10, the hotel staff has long gone. And we are so tired that just want to lay down on the bed. Then in the morning, we were trying to make these appointments to the museums and locations which have been booked in advance, so we just get up and leave in a hurry, still no chance to talk to the staff, although they show up as early as 6 am. Kudos to these hardworking Italian people! So until the last day we finally had some time, then we realized that it's time to check out and leave for the next destination. Anyway this is how we stayed ina very noisy room for 6nights without talking /reporting to the hotel staff. One night, the room lost hot water, so no hot shower is available, and the hotel staff has already left for the day. So I left a note on the front desk.they saw the note and fixed it the second day.there seems no vent in the bathroom, so after shower the steam will accumulate in the room for a while before disappearing.

Spacious room, it even has a couch/futon bed for a third person, which is not what we have asked for, but they decided to give us as an upgrade I guess so I appreciate that. Plenty electric sockets near the bed head and around room, convenient to charge up all the device at once. Location is close to the museum of San Marco by Angelico, and the Orphanage built by Brunelleschi, the galleria de academia which has Michelangelo 's David. just a fewinutes of walk. Even to other attractions are not too far, we walked to all of them.

The room was not provided with enough toilet rolls - what we have is just what was left from the previous guests. We just stayed for the night before proceeding to our next city but it would be great if the staff had looked into these littel details.

The room was well decorated and has a good vibes to it. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast adequate and the staff were cheerful. Checking in was quick and really appreciate that we were allowed to leave our luggages after check out as we wait for our flight schedule. That gave us some more time to explore the vicinity which was great.

Located on a quiet street, not too far from the centre of town or the train station either by walking or taking a taxi. The breakfast included in my booking was delicious and the communication from the hotel was very good too before and during my stay. The room was spacious and comfortable too.

The wifi signal was super weak upstairs in the room we were staying at.

The bathroom was too small for me and I found it very uncomfortable. It was difficult to get to the room with luggage . I thought it was over priced.

The window on the bottom floor was covered with iron bars so if there was a fire outside in the corridor there would be no emergency exit. Not sure that’s legal.

Loved the venue. Great little garden to sit in. The morning cafe manager was the sweetest lady who was very kind to my mother.

There were no space to move as the room was extra little. We have no slippers and toothpaste/toothbrushes. Our bad was not double, it was two single beds together.
