Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The location is very convenient, very close to the central station and also a walking distance to the bus station to the airport. The building is still undergoing renovation but it's all good and still clean. Staff are friendly too

Hotel is currently undergoing a renovation so it's covered with scaffolds which produce sounds outside that are pretty significant during the night. The view out of the window is covered with those scaffolds and construction-in-progress elements as well, so it's better not to open the curtain/window. Breakfast is quite mediocre.
Good location, no hassle with checking-in and checking-out, good beds and sheets. Friendly staff.

I did not like that the safe did not work, although I did everything according to the instructions. The hair dryer did not work. Didn't have an iron, not even the whole hotel. The lighting in the room is not cozy. The shower is so small that it is very difficult to pick it up if you drop something, there is no shower hose in the shower. I didn't like that I left the window closed when I left, and it was opened after the housekeeper's visit.
I liked the location, near the station. 24/7 reception. The interior has an antique feel to it, I quite liked it. Great service, asked if the room needs to be cleaned although it was already cleared.

The shower spout in the shower cubicle was very high up. There was no hand shower available. Very disappointing as whoever gets a shower does'nt always need to wet the hair. I wonder how this issue does not come in mind by the owners of the hotel.
I enjoyed a big room .Very spacious .Had 1 large double bed and a single bed. A big window facing main road but had view obstructed fully as work was being carried out on the building's facade .The location close to central station. I did not buy the breakfast option. Very good lighting and lots of TV stations in italian only.

The building was under renovation and there was no view at all. The rooms and bathrooms are very tiny, no space to move around.
The location is very good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Changed the linens and towels , which is wonderful.

A very small bathroom, a fat person can't enter and wash, I squeezed my stomach and entered like that 😁 its area was not 1 meter. The breakfast was not enough, if you can't fix the bath, maybe you can fix the breakfast at least, with love ❤️
I liked everything, the location is very close to the metro and the station - 5 minutes maximum. If you're hungry and suddenly can't go far, you can order a pizza and a cappuccino at the Turkish restaurant next door for €8 or less. There is a small shop next door, the staff is nice.

Elevator and separate buildings not so convenient

i got a deal for 65 Euro on Booking. To be honest 65 is maximum for this room. old furniture, old bathroom, everthing is falling apart. i wanted to continue, but price rised up to 195 Euro. breakfast is so poor

Bathroom needs immediate attention. Shower screen will not close causing water to spray out the doorway onto floor. The bedroom floor is lifting at the dòorway from being constantly wet. Nowhere to put soap or shower gel/shampoo in shower stall, just a cheap plastic one attached from shower head would be fine! Shower head is broken and needs replacing. You can't turn the bathroom light on because of the loud noise. The toilet paper holder is BEHIND the toilet - very hard to reach!! There is plenty of space BESIDE the toilet. The shutters on the door out onto balcony is totally off the runners and cannot be moved so you cannot use the balcony. All small things and simple to fix - why not do so and get a good rating??? My husband is a handyman and could have fixed most of it if he had some tools!
Close to transport. Very helpful staff. Good size room comfortable bed.

Some point like say on foment
