WiFi is so slow that it is just unusable. Room safe did not work - no batteries. Minibar was broken - warm drinks. Bedside power outlets had no power.

I would like to say that the rooms weren't clean because i found a bug in my room and it contained blood and did report it to the reception, next is the loud noise from the window sound of cars and motorcycles, couldn't sleep, no AC. and first day at breakfast there were nobody to help you like more than 15 minutes until somebody showed up for coffee. Other than this on the reception they were helpful.

As with all the attractions in Rome there were crowds during the time we were there and the Vatican groups were overwhelming. W did see the Sisteen Chapel but all the seats were taken (must have been more than 500) and thus we were rushed through the Vatican. St Peters was much better and free and the line moved quickly.

The hotel is quite old and is located off the Via Veneto (which ain't what it used to be) as it was rather quiet. The room portrays a bit of the old world charm but is aged. The best part is the breakfast served on the top floor offering a view of the park and the food is ok. Location is not too far from any attractions and easy to get a taxi to the Vatican or the Colosseum.

-our family had early departure and requested reception to let us enter breakfast room bit earlier, at around 5 min before opening, so we could leave early to airport.. But the brekfast stuff did not opend the brekafst room even on time.. -(!)Do not order taxi via Hotel Reception: official taxi from Airport to hotel was 38 Euro. But Taxi from Hotel to Airport ordered by Hotel Eliseo reception was (!)60 Euro in early morning - no traffic at all.. and hotel taxi driver did not even put a taxi-meter even on... -most of hotel furniture of quite old, especially the bathrooms.. -hotel rooms with windows to the main road are quite noisy due to main road..

Getting there - being in the center and arriving with a car is a nightmare. Still waiting for a fine for entering a traffic limited zone somewhere. The staff was not helpful when it comes to this matter, not being able to answer/navigate. Understaffed at breakfast, couldn’t keep up with the load. The hotel could be really lovely, vintage, but unfortunately left to become shabby instead of vintage.

Comfortable beds, reasonably sized rooms, breakfast room with a beautiful view, nicely decorated and cosy lounge area.

1- The hotel is not worth the 4 star rating, 2 starts r more than enough. 2- the room was very small, and doesn't look net. 3- the air conditioning is an old system and was not cooling at all, and when i did complain to the reception, he answered us in rude way that the AC is like this and can't do anything. So we had to sleep 2 nights naked with opened window Because of the hot weather. 4- the hotel looks very old and needs renovation.

Because I always Prefer to stay next to the parks, the hotel location was good to me.

The lift was very small but not much could be done to change that. Be patient!

The small things like flowers on the breakfast table and the efforts to satisfy visitor's needs were much appreciated. Very central, within walking distance of the main attractions in Rome.

Poor wifi signal and speed. The facilities service was poor,if anything breaks they not able to attend to it immediately in the evening as there is a lack of staff according to reception. Breakfast needs to be upgraded with more attention paid. Need friendlier reception area especially on arrival from staff or reception desk.

The location is great, the view from the 6th floor great for visitors. Within good walking distance of a number of tourist sites.

I dont know howcome this hotel gain 4 stars ? It doesnt deserve more than 2! You cant imagine how dirty the room was. Floor of room was always full of dirt and hair and dust and they didnt clean it at all. The bathroom was disaster and it was full of ants. Even the bed was terrible with an old maitress and dirty blanket . I wont go to there again at all and i wont suggest it to anybody!!!!

The bathroom drain smelled quite strong one day, and I don't really need the Madonna on the wall!

The location is great -right next to the Roman city wall and the Borghese gardens and within easy walking distance to the Spanish steps etc. The roof-top breakfast room has a wonderful view of Rome. The room is comfortable and clean.
