It is very difficult to reach the hotel by car. The parking place is near the hotel, so it’s better to leave the car there and walk to the hotel with your luggage. The room was no too big, and it was noisy, you could hear the watersystem of the nearby rooms. It was also rumurous at night, with people entering the hotel late at night.

The staff was very kind, they showed us an alternative for the usual parking place. The breakfast was good, we had to order everything in advance. The view from the room was nice.

Nothing like the room we thought booked, we happened to check out on market day, closest car park closed for this, was fair distance away we had to park, only positive it was free, hotel located in ZTL

Return customers are very unhappy with our recent experience! Our daughter was not feeling well and we called the hotel to see if we could get a credit for our stay. The hotel declined any assistance and we communicated that we would still come, note we did not request through booking or any other means for our reservation to be canceled. Several minutes later we received a transaction notice late morning, several hours prior to the check-in time. We were not a no-show. Note, my reservation through booking was a reservation with payment directly at the facility. We called the hotel to ask why they charged the card we used ONLY to guarantee the room and they said it was typical for a booking reservation. I pointed out to them that my reservation was specifically made "pay at the property" and that they were not authorized to charge my card unless we were a no-show. They declined reimbursement. I immediately called booking to inform them that the property did not respect the terms and conditions of the reservation made and requested assistance. Given that all the property cared about was money, we asked Booking that we were disgusted by their gesture and to assist with cancellation with a full refund. Booking could not resolve the issue and we ended up having to stay. Upon check-in, Patrizia who was at the front desk was the ONLY thing about our stay that was delightful. She was kind and did what she could to help. She also served us the next morning, always with a genuine smile. I checked out with whom I believe the owner or the person who charged us against the terms and conditions of our reservation was smug and clearly bothered by my presence. We will not return. The property is in a marvelous location but very outdated. The beds are cardboard and the A/c units make so much noise we had to shut them off to sleep. The Internet was so slow I ended up using my cell service. Unfortunately, we will not return due to the gesture of the owner.

Drunk singing German tourists. Don't know where they were staying but their voices rang off the city's stone walls. Not the hotel's fault!

Gubbio is incredible. The hotel was marvelous. Staff recommended wonderful local restaurant. We loved our stay.
