Like in other reviews, the rooms need a bit of an update, especially the bathrooms which are outdated and don’t match the standard of the exterior

The staff are exceptional, friendly and cannot do enough for you, the facilities are fantastic and beautifully kept and the food is out of this world! I have stayed in luxury 5 star hotels and the food has not been nearly as good! For all of these reasons, we would definitely stay again and recommend to other people! We were also lucky enough to stay over Ferragosto and the hotel put on the most incredible event which helped make our stay even more special. A big thank you to the whole team at the Hermitage, you are doing an incredible job!

My room didn’t have AC, which could be really helpful, especially because the windows didn’t have a fly net.

The hotel is simply stunning. Very beautiful views, amazing breakfast, the staff is friendly and helpful and the location is convenient. You can feel the authentic Italian vibes. There are many pools, spa, tennis court.

Nothing could have been better, except I would have been able to leave the tips to the staff by cards, given that it's becoming more and more the preferred payment every where and the money withdrawal it's less easier to do around the island. Hoping it will be the next improving for the Hotel, because the staff really deserves it. 😊✨

The Continental Breakfast was plenty of really good choices, including the Sunday morning hand made local pastry (cornetto ischitano).😋

The rooms themselves were a bit spartan and could’ve benefited from more decoration. The plugs in the room didn’t fit the standard adapters (pins were too close together) so we had to use the plug in the bathroom. Both fairly trivial issues that didn’t affect our stay negatively. Hotel is a bit of a walk uphill from the port but that’s a trade-off for the amazing views.

The spa and swimming pools were amazing with excellent views! Breakfast and coffee were very good. The common hotel facilities, pools, garden, etc. were all beautifully kept. We had massages which were reasonably priced and very good. The rooms come with a balcony which is great. Rooms were spacious. Staff friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay here again.

The internet was horrible, horrible, horrible. Not working at all. Only working at the lobby. The A/c was barely working. Room not as described. Smaller and having sofa be ( uncomfortable) instead of a queen bed

I love this hotel and have returned here 3 times and will return again. It is very welcoming, wonderfully located for a quick transfer from the port (which you can walk/bus!), for Ischia Ponte and the Castello, for the buses. It has excellent facilities, it is very tranquil and the breakfast is super! Great for solo travellers too.

I recently stayed at the Hermitage Terme Spa in Ischia and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is well located, just a short walk from Ischia’s vibrant town center, making it easy to explore shops, restaurants, and the beautiful sights of the island. However, the spacious balconies with views of the gardens or the sea are a lovely bonus. One of the highlights is definitely the spa and thermal pools. Would recommend more fruit options for the breakfast if possible.

The property was in an excellent location . Quiet but then around a 10 min walk to Ischia Porte and Ponte with plenty of shops and restaurants. The pool and spa facilities were great both inside and out. Room was spacious and clean with an amazing view of the castle. While pets are allowed we did not see any during our stay in May. We had a great stay.

The internet was appalling. The pools didn't open until 9.30 and closed at 6 and during the very hot weather it would be good to be able to swim in the cooler part of the day

The bed was rock hard The shower was awful. It needed a very good descaling and the whole unit was so badly positioned in the shower cubicle that you couldn’t get your body under the water flow. The shower aimed directly at the shower door. Not enough beds round the pool. Many of them in the shade during the day. All crammed in too close to one another. They need to remove the tables from the far side of the pool to allow for more beds

Recommended to offer shuttle from/to the port. One negative is they hosted a private party one night with loud DJ until midnight.

Location was great for walking to Ischia Porto or Ponte. Pools were nice although closed early. Breakfast and food service were quality. Grounds were well kept. Beds were ok and rooms were nice. Overall, our stay was very nice and a good value.
