A lovely single room with a fabulous view from the balcony. Perfect for a solo traveller. It was comfortable and quiet. A lovely buffet breakfast was provided. There is an outdoor pool and an indoor thermal spa pool which needs to be booked before use.

The lighting in our newly renovated room resembled two small spaceships with windows that allowed blinding white light to escape. It is impossible to turn off the "spotlight portion" of these blinding white lights because that caused all the lights in the room to turn off. We were reduced to covering these spaceships with the Do Not Disturb sign and it still leaked through! The air conditioning was also impossible to adjust and we resorted to turning it off for our entire stay.

The pools are exceptional, especially the heated mineral pool. The landscaping is beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. The decor of the room was very pleasing but the functionality needs tweaking. We greatly enjoyed the view from the terrace. The staff at the Reception Desk welcomed us with traditional Italian hospitality, especially Mario, a charming gentleman who said he was sad to see us go. He also ended our stay on a high note by booking a tuk-tuk to take us back to the hydrofoil which was so much fun.

We went at a time when it was a lot quieter so there wasn’t that much going on - however that isn’t particularly the hotels fault. Realistically there’s not much we would say we didn’t like - maybe more savoury breakfast options with different types of eggs/cheeses/meats.

We got the most incredible room with the view out onto the castle. It was surreal and once in a lifetime holiday location. The pools were nice and staff made sure that the “spa” atmosphere was maintained throughout the hotel. (A few guests were treating the spa as an aqua park splashing about and causing chaos, and the staff kindly asked them to keep it calm for other guests) the breakfast had great options of mainly pastries and cereals/yoghurts. With a handful of cheeses, meats and juices/coffees/teas. We didn’t get to try the dinner options so not sure whether they were worth it.

The spa needs more signage is it's to be used a certain way. Got told off for talking in the spa pool when it wasn't us talking.

The breakfast os very poor. I was missing more fruits and variety of non-pastry such as omelette, vegetables, oatmeal. I think it is necessary to improve the breakfast to meet the 4 star quality.

I was expecting more choices for the breakfast. The massages at the spa were supposed to be 50 minutes but they were actually 35 minutes. It is a beautiful hotel but maybe a little expensive.

The shower in our bathroom had some issues as it was higher than the surrounding floor and would spill into the bathroom floor sometimes but we were otherwise very pleased with our room

For a 4-star hotel, the facilities were not that great. I especially wanted amenities toothbrush, conditioner, hairbrush, etc.

It was nice to be able to walk to Ischiaport, downtown and the beach. The breakfast buffet was very extensive. I was very satisfied with the abundance of breads, seasonal fruits, tiramisu, and cappuccinos made by the barista.

The hotel is a distance from the port so was a lot of walking, however, closer to the castle and restaurants. Continental breakfast could have had more variety and hot food option would of made it perfect.

Gorgeous room with a fantastic view of the castle. Spa facilities are fantastic and as good if not better as some of the beach clubs and thermal spas we visited during the stay. Rooms were great size.

The breakfast times are between 7.30 and 10.00. I certainly did not expect to be asked to vacate the breakfast room at 10.05 am and again at 10.10 am. When I asked why I was been asked to leave at these times, I was informed the room had to be got ready for dinner at 2.00 pm. I always thought you could get a breakfast from 7.30 am till 10.00 am and not that you had to get your breakfast and eat it by 10.00 am I should also add I did not arrive too late for breakfast.

Restaurant closed for dinner at 10pm which is a bit early for Italian standards, but there are many dinner opportunities close by.

The beds are amazingly comfortable. Lunch at the pool is amazing. Great Italian food. Very knowledgeable and kind staff. Breakfast (included in the deal I had) is good with a barista making great cappuccino! The sauna and the thermal bad are small but sufficient. You book in advance so not over crowded Close to the Ischia main port so easy for when you are island hopping.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable and the bathroom was a bit shabby. The ceiling had a previous leak and some mold was there.

The pool with the bistro was nice. The waiters and staff there were the best part of our stay. They were especially friendly and courteous.

Beautiful property, pool area is fun, the staff was helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast. We also had the option to have dinner at the hotel for 30 euros for a 4-course meal. It was delicious. The hotel is located in a great spot.

25 min walk to the beach and town. Bit too far out. Quite unfriendly male receptionist on the night shift on our last night (19th June) who booked us a ridiculous tuk-tuk as a taxi to take us to the Port with all our suitcases.

Our favourite thing was the pool bar and the staff in the pool bar! Great selection of drinks and cocktails, lots of free nibbles. The pool was great and very clean, never too busy. The external areas in general were beautiful. Hotel room was large and had a large balcony with great views. Cleaning staff were excellent. Great selection at breakfast
