My lovely view of a window faced the street, so though that was lovely, the noise at night from down below was not, as can be expected.

The location was amazing! And the fact that there were wonderful views, especially from the rooftop restaurant. I enjoyed opening my window and seeing the duomo beyond. So yes, location was great. Room was average - a little faded, with some older furniture, but bathroom looked newly tiled.

The floor of the room was splitting up, the staff were not that friendly and we couldn't leave our bags for an hour at reception after check-out which was very inconvenient. Was noisy on some nights because of the bars around but it wasn't bad.

Arrived wintry windy day and was very cold in room. Reception said radiator steam would not come on until 7pm. 7pm heat from radiator was meager. Room was drafty from poorly latched hundreds years old window. Latched it more tightly and had considerably less drafts. Space heater later overcame the draft contribution of chill. Accessibility: steps up from street were a challenge. No hotel staff to help with baggage or scooter. Reception staff seemed aloof like they were doing us a favor by checking us in and out. Not very welcoming.

Extra blankets in wardrobe, room extremely cold in winter. After wife being sick and unable to leave room, discovered reception had space heaters for guests to request. After space heater, room was comfortable enough.

We were arrived early and the reception not coming yet. BUT the Cleanong lady are SUPER NICE !! Though they dont speak english. They understand us and asked us to get hurry inside because she saw my 4 years old boy and dont want him to get cold

The windows had zero sound protection and the hotel is near a bell tower which rings at 6, 6.30, 7 and 7.30 and 8 which completely ruined our sleep

Not enough heating. Outside noise from 6am and up to midnight as no double glazing at front. No shower curtain. Very thin towels. Bathroom door was damaged and very noisy to open.

No breakfast available but plenty out on the streets. Unfortunately there was no safe in my room and all I can say is DO NOT leave money in the room while you are away. Lock any of your valuables up. Also remember the city tax for this hotel is 4.5 EURO per person per night. It MUST be paid in CASH. So bring the appropriate cash to make it quicker. The tower bells do ring- so keep that in mind.

The room was very big and spacious. There was a nice rooftop bar which gave very good views of the city and Duomo complex.

Not very quiet during the night but this comes with the location in the main street. Maybe in the summer a fridge would be good.

The location was the best you can have, in the very heart of Florence. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful and kind. You felt home during your stay there. Would come back again gladly.

There is a lot of street noise at night (garbage trucks etc) but ear plugs did the trick. The building is very old, but that is to be expected in this location.

Amazing little hotel in a fantastic location. Walking distance to all the major tourist attractions, shops and restaurants. We caught the train and were able to walk from the station. It was right in the centre of the action. Great value for money, clean with a decent sized shower ( unlike a lot of other places).

The bar was expensive. The room wasn't very big, but it was sufficient. You could hear people in other rooms but it wasn't too bad.

The location was excellent. It was a 13 minute walk from the main train station. There was a lovely view from the rooftop bar. There was no street traffic. The bed was very comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water.
