The hotel is generally outdated and does not have a lift, so the only way to reach the rooms is by taking the stairs. The room we stayed in had a musty smell, and the bathroom door was a shutter and required taking a big step to enter. This step can be hazardous, especially if you need to use the bathroom at night.

The location was perfect for our stay, an easy 10-minute walk to the station and a few minutes to the shops. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, more so than any other place I have stayed at. Rooms are kept clean by housekeeping and there is also a good selection for breakfast including gluten-free items.

It took about 40 minutes to walk to the Leaning Tower. It is a local neighbourhood away from the business of the Leaning Tower area. It was nice, quiet with good restaurants nearby. The bed was comfy and the bathroom facilities were good. The personal was nice and friendly and the breakfast was fine with options of both Italian and Continental dishes. I enjoyed my stay.

The bathroom had several spots with mold in the shower (walls and ceiling). We had to ask for toilet paper and shampoo, this wasn’t refilled by the cleaning lady. However, the staff was very polite when we asked, and gave it immediately.

Really lovely kind staff with very quiet bedroom. Great restaurants and bars close by. 10 minute walk to train and bus station for trips to Florence, Monterosso and Luca. Huge choice for Breakfast.

Great location 5mins from the airport by taxi. 10-15mins walk from the Tower and the Train Station. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great choice at breakfast.

The bathroom was a little disappointing. It was tiny although very clean.

The room was clean. It was nice to have a mini fridge with bottled water, wine, beer and soft drinks to purchase.

The staff, location and breakfasts were amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Minerva. Friendly reception and great value for money, and did I mention the breakfast :) !

The building is really old.

Location was perfect for our needs. Staff was amazing and very thoughtful. They even gave us an upgrade when they saw we were with a baby. The mattress was very good for our preference.

On first impression the decor is a bit dated.

This hotel was a short walk from the train station and the rooms were clean and tidy. The staff were lovely and friendly. I only stayed one night and had to leave early so couldn’t try breakfast but I would stay again.

Breakfast was fabulous The room was ok it had everything you needed, only wished we could have watch television in English. There is away to change the language but couldn’t seem to work it out. The lady on the desk also tried but was unable to do it. Location was about 10/15 minute walk to the main shopping street with bars and restaurants which was nice but nothing in the vicinity of the hotel. Would have been nice if the hotel had a bar with seating area, then we wouldn’t have wanted the TV.
