We travelled with a 6 months old baby and it was a bit too cold in the room for him, but i guess it is normal in winter in warm countries, as they don't focus on the heating system...

The first room we had was a bit crowded for us but we requested another and they accommodated us. I can't complain about anything really.

We were so relaxed here. The train being so close was not a bother at all. We slept with the French doors open and had no mosquitoes or noise. The town is so peaceful and safe. The trees and garden area off our # 3 room on the second floor was lovely. We also loved the breakfasts and the dinners were tops! The staff was so helpful and friendly and the restaurant felt like your aunt Francesca's own kitchen. We miss it so much. The rooms were comfy and the one we had was spacious for the 3 adults in our party. What a pleasant reasonably priced and family oriented and run hotel. Thanks!!

Like many small establishments in Italy there is a self serve coffee machine which makes pretty average coffee. Bread was also pretty tasteless.

Gracious old building and garden that had the misfortune to have the new railway line built on its boundary. Close to sea, nice beach, not just rocks. A real haven from the crowds of the 5 villages. We requested a room with air conditioning which are on second floor up a lot of steps. Staff very helpful and friendly. Limited dinner menu but nicely done.

The hotel is lovely. The train can be heard from the hotel, but I didn't notice it at all by the second night we stayed.

The hotel was very charming. The staff were so friendly and they were very helpful, especially when our 2 year old got carsick and we needed help to clean her car-seat cover. The breakfast was very tasty, and our room was large and comfortable. We hired bikes from the hotel as well, which was a great way to travel to Levanto via the tunnel-great fun! I would stay here again if we are returning to Bonnasola.

The breakfast - to have local produce and a better selection of fruits. Give a choice of the on the eggs - better cheese etc. Promote the local farmers and their products through your hotel - for instance the honey and jams from the area - organic eggs and meat etc . We are so tired of the same old plastic food and hard boiled eggs found on cheap breakfast buffets.

The bathroom had a strange smell (probably old plumbing) and the beds seemed fairly old too. The ladder kept falling off the bunk bed. None of this was a problem but it's also a fairly basic hotel.

Lovely people, nice breakfast and the family room was a good size for our family of 4 (could fit 5 actually). Great also that the kids could go outside and play with the bikes and scooters. Great location to see the Cinque Terre from without staying in one of the more popular towns. We stayed here 2 nights with one night in between at Corniglia. We took the train to the first town, then hiked to Corniglia, then finished the hike the next day and took the train back. We were able to leave our car here which was very helpful. We were a little concerned about the trains, but quickly got used to it, and you would hear them anywhere in Bonassola. A table to write on or desk in the room would have been nice. We were unsure whether eggs in the basket were soft boiled or hard boiled as we experienced both. This made us avoid the eggs. But apart from that breakfast was great!

Bonassola was a great choice for our stay. We really liked the atmosphere of the hotel with its period furniture and every room with its own character. The view from the top floor was great and the grand marble staircase, too. It has clearly seen more glamorous days, but that adds to the charm.

The train station is only 50 meters from the hotel, so you can hear every train, along the whole day and the night (if you have the window open). The breakfast was the "boring italian standard", with bread, ham, scrambled egg, cheese, müsli with joghurt, marmelades, and some sweet cakes. Coffee was terrible (machine with instant coffee and milk)... So they could develop on the breakfast definitely.

The hotel is well located, only 5 minutes from the seaside. Small restaurants, bars in few minutes on foot. The hotel building has a nice old charme, rustic, french style. The service and the hotel personal was very friendly, they helped us in everything what we needed.
