Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwedenMy room was a little bit warm and I couldn't adjust the temperature
The location is close to Verona main station which is great. The room was very clean. Staff was great and breakfast was amazing. I needed to sign a small contract for my dog which was litterally just saying that the dog shouldn't be left alone in the room.

United KingdomWe found some empt water bottles and used shower caps left in the room, it was clearly from the previous people. However after the initial unpleasant feeling the room was really clean.
Nice and simple hotel, all the basic things are there. Our room had a balcony. Room was very clean (sheets, towels etc). I really liked their soap, very oily and pleasant on my hands. Breakfast was perfect, good choice of pastries, bread, yogurts. Some really juicy oranges. Hotel is near train station and just 15 minutes walk to Verona main attractions. While walking to Verona we found some nice places to eat where prices are reasonable as it is away from the main touristy areas.

United KingdomWe were first given a room in a lower floor/basement that had a truly awful smell of sewage. We tried staying there but after half hour we could not resist, so we asked for a room change and staff quickly gave us another room, which we much appreciated. We were moved to a lovely room.
The hotel is located few minutes walk from the main train station, perfect to take the shuttle bus to the airport very early in the morning. It's also within easy reach of the town historical centre, about 10-15 min on foot. The hotel is basic but nice, and the staff was very helpful and they even prepared us a takeaway breakfast as we had a very early flight to catch! Once we changed room, it was lovely, clean and comfortable.

ItalyThe property is well-located. It is near Porta Nuova, and I can reach it on foot. The 24-hour reception is so helpful. I checked in late at night, but there was no problem, and it was effortless. The staff are so kind. The breakfast was included, and it was so complete and fresh. I liked that. Also, there is a locker; I could put my luggage in it after check-out in the hotel. I booked an ensuite room, and the bathroom was so clean.

ItalyThe room was quite small with over-sized furniture badly spaced and the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. The room we were in could do with modernising with more up-to-date and better located furniture. Although there was a kettle and tea/coffee these were not replenished during our 3-day stay. There was only one small wooden teaspoon which was not replaced during the 3 days. The plastic tumblers in the shower room were never replaced. The shower door did not close properly resulting in the bathroom getting flooded every time we took showers.
Situated about 15 minutes walk from the centre of the city. The more than ample breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice both savoury and sweet. There is on-street parking directly outside the hotel, which filled up quite quickly. The staff were attentive and polite. The small room was warm and cosy. Kettle and tea-making facilities. Excellent wifi connection.

AustriaOn our trip through Italy we spent a night at this hotel. It is near the city center. After a 20 minute walk you can see the beautiful old town. In front of the hotel is a street with free parking. The alternative is a parking garage (10 € per day). The breakfast was really great and there was even a free gym. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much. 🤗

LithuaniaThe location is really good, around 30min walk to the city center. Maybe the interior is a bit dated, but it is not a huge problem. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean. Only near the hotel there was a construction site, which started work at 7am and finished around 8pm, so the sound was slightly annoying. But I mean it is completelly not the hotels fault. Everybody was respectful, peaceful, we had a good night rest and a chance to explore Verona. 😊

United KingdomWe had a room with an outside terrace but we couldn’t get the roller shutter door fully open, had to duck down to get outside. It’s a little bit remote, about a 20 min walk to the centre, but the city itself is stunning, we loved it!
Nice room, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially those in breakfast duties. Amazing choice and quality for breakfast.
