“The hotel was nice and clean, but I would say it should not be rated as a 4-star hotel, rather one category lower. At first, I was given a room on the ground floor, which I generally do not like. The room I finally stayed in was at the back and a bit noisy. Although the location was relatively central, about a ten-minute walk from Bologna’s main square, the area itself felt rather empty and without much life, which made me feel a bit uneasy. In my opinion, the hotel was not value for money. I would have also appreciated a slightly richer breakfast.”

I can’t recommend this lovely small hotel in Bologna highly enough! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from all the main attractions, yet tucked away enough to offer peace and quiet at night. The hotel itself is immaculately clean, cozy, and tastefully decorated, making it feel like a true home away from home. What really made our stay exceptional, though, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were always ready with a smile. One of the standout features of our stay was their amazing restaurant recommendations—they guided us to some of the best local spots, from charming trattorias to hidden gems serving authentic Bolognese cuisine. Each meal was a highlight of our trip! If you’re looking for a comfortable, charming, and centrally located place to stay in Bologna with exceptional service, this is it. We’ll definitely be coming back!

More seating iand space in the restaurant,
The room was great and exceeded expectation. More importantly, the staff were amazing and in particular the young receptionist Simone and the restaurant manager! The recommendations on places to visit and the restaurants to go to were perfect! Breakfast was delicious every day!

A small addition of a kettle with tea in the room would make the stay even more perfect.
Excellent hotel in the student area of Bologna, very close to the Pinacoteca. The service and staff are outstanding — friendly, helpful, and attentive. I stayed in the Aida room, which was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent as well. A small addition of a kettle with tea in the room would make the stay even more perfect. On the downside it seemed to be in a slightly run-down area, with quite a lot of graffiti. However, we would still highly recommend the property and staff.
The hotel was small and charming as advertised. It was beautifully up together. Our room was comfortable with flat screen TV, en-suite shower room, minibar and safe. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They made us feel very welcome and really looked after us well. We had to leave in the middle of the night for an early flight home and they prepared a takeaway breakfast for us to take to the airport. The location of the property was quite central. It was a 15-20 minute taxi ride to the central station and about 30 minutes to the airport depending on traffic. It was a 15 minute walk to Piazza Maggiore in the centre, with plenty to see enroute.

Bedroom was ok, a bit small and basic.

The property is 10 minutes from Piața Maggiore and 15 minutes from Central Station . The room was nice and clean, the breakfast is really good and the staff is super nice and helpful.

Would have been glad of “Teasmade” type tea/coffee making facility in the room.
I appreciated the welcoming staff, the excellent choice of breakfast menu , the rain shower, and having a fridge in my room.
