Excellent location near Croce Church and the Duomo and near bus stops. Excellent restaurants nearby. Staff were very friendly.

Not so much a dislike as it is a callout, the shower is essentially built into the bathroom, so when you shower the water is on the floor of the rest of the bathroom. This didn't bother us, we just wore shoes!

Stayed in the Studio Apartment/Annex - the hotel is in the most centrally located area (10 minute walk to just about anything), it was extremely clean and was very cute and private. The staff Mario & Gabriel were extremely helpful with history of the location, tips & recommendations while in Florence, our luggage and any questions we had during our trip.

This hotel was fine and the staff was very welcoming! It is easy to get around to the center, the Ufizi museum and the river. We were looking for a room for 2 and what we found on booking.com was a 3 bed room (to the price of 2, I believe) so the room was big and nice. The breakfast was alright with some choices, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Nothing really, exept the fact I really don't understand how on earth this hotel hasn't got another star already.

This was our best places in all of Florence, very suprising after what we expereienced before in other hotels/apartments. Firstly you can saw Santa Croce from your window, we've got some nice view. I think I like this district the most, everything was very close. The room was neat and tidy, comfy bed, a big mirror on the wall, kitchen with fridge, free wi-fi, hair dryer, bidet, even a safe in the wall - in a very adventorous place - what else do you need? The staff was super friendly, you can tell they love their job and want to give you the best experience. When we arrived we were very exhausted, they instantly offer free welcome drinks, without asking, they can let us early check-in, they give us a map to the area, they explained everything, they suggest restaurants, and what you must to see in Florence. They also know the history about every corner of the city. It was a blast. They stored our baggages for the next day, they call for us a taxi with a good price, they even carry our bags to our rooms, which was very special in Florence. Every member of the staff speaks very well in english. They provide also breakfast. I think they have a good price, especially if you think about you are just a click from everything. This hotel is unbeatable, I definetely recommend, and I would love to come back to spend here a whole week, maybe next year.

The location could not be beat .. 4 minutes walk from Duomo in Florence's center core. This building is 400-500 years old but they managed to offer a cozy, well air conditioned room at a reasonable price. The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. The simple breakfast totally met my needs. Would definitely return!

Would have preferred a larger shower/toilet facility in the room; however, given that the room is in an historic building, the size is understandable and practical.

Easy walking distance to the major attractions. Excellent WIFI (triple digit download AND upload speeds). Brothers Mario and Gabriele, together with Fabrizio were wonderful and attentive hosts.

Breakfast could be greatly improved. Everything you expect is there, but in an easy - purchased - type of way (the fact that it is individually packaged may satisfy health requirements but it's not "home" made). Also the owners need to invest in a good coffee machine (does not take much, really!). At the moment, it is better to skip the breakfast and have a good and proper coffee outside.

Great location in the heart of Florence. The street is quiet and so the night is as peaceful as the hotel guests. The room and bathroom were clean and does the job. The AC was easy to turn on and was very efficient.

Perfect location, close to most interesting points in the old town. If going there by car, bear in mind that because of narrow streets and high buildings, gps navigation is not so reliable. Pay more attention and follow hotel instructions on how to reach the place. In my case, I got lost, contacted the hotel and the owners were so kind to send someone to help me.
