Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Everything was very good: breakfast, stuff, location, design of hotel and rooms, vaporetto/water bus stop is very close to the hotel. We really enjoyed of our vacation in Venice!

GREAT location for getting to Piazza San Marco. Quiet residential part of town, vaporetto stop nearby. Lovely breakfast, friendly staff, super comfortable bed. Nice garden to sit in.

One morning the breakfast was not very good - the influx of guests was too great and the service did not keep up with the dirty dishes and coffee making.....
Everything was very good - very responsive servers, perfect location in Venice, good and quiet surroundings. We were here for the second time and we will go again!

The hotel felt a little short staffed a couple of times and the room was a bit hot despite us turning the heating off.
Great location, peaceful and quiet. Room was lovely and great value. Staff all very nice and helpful.

Leaving the hotel at the end of our holiday
We loved every moment of our stay. Wonderful hotel in a quiet residential neighbourhood, about a 20 minute walk to restaurants (a couple around the corner), and 40 minutes away from where the action starts (the basilica). Also a vaporetto stop on the doorstep that goes everywhere. Gorgeous modern facilities, beautiful restaurant and delicious breakfast!

The room windows did not open so it had a slightly odd unventilated smell which was a shame as the room was spotless but felt a bit odd. The restaurant was closed as they had no chef it would have been good to have been informed as we came back one evening hoping to dine there and then explored the area and the only other restaurant in the neighbourhood was closed for holidays.
I really liked the location, it is set in a beautiful neighbourhood. The hotel was nice, breakfast was good but the same everyday so after three days not so exciting. We were able to walk to the centre of Venice in 15 minutes

The rooms at night were very hot and the bar was expensive for drinks in the evening

In the winter there are limited dining options in the neighbourhood, but the hotel Kitchen and Bar were great.
Room as great, included breakfast was delicious, and the hotel team was super helpful. The surrounding neighbourhood is super chill, yet only 2 stops on the Vaporetto to St Marks Square.

It was a bit difficult to control the heat in the rooms.
I liked everything about this hotel. I have spent much time in Turkey, especially Istanbul and the hotel's design theme reflected the Ottoman era.

The location is both good and not so good, it's far from the center of Venice and it's also good to be out of the center to enjoy the nature of Venice.
The design of the hotel is nice and it was clean. The staff was very friendly and willing for assist.

Coffee could be better, aircon / heating not perfect and acoustics not great. Passages to the rooms need softening, a little too dormitory like as it’s all hard surfaces

The dark ground floor room we were given having booked a Premium room for 3 nights.
The staff were absolutely lovely. Even during very busy breakfast service . Sadly our room on the ground floor was very dark and we would have preferred to be on a higher floor with some sort of view rather than not being able to see out of the high windows. We needed all the lights on the whole time. However the bed and linen was exceptionally comfortable!

We were staying with kids and were sure that halfboard is also an option for them. It is not written anywhere, but only on booking PC version in the end of description of the hotel, that only adults can enjoy 3 course dinner. This was very disappointing.
It is a very nice hotel with great design and attentive staff. We also liked the location. It can feel a bit far from the “center”, but still it is the same island as San Marco, which is reachable in 20-30 Minutes by foot through the nice garden and the promenade. Vaporetto stop is just on the corner. We had a halfboard option. The breakfast and the dinner were very good.

It is nicely decorated and comfortable hotel. Hotel lobby, bar and restaurant are very enjoyable for having dinner or some drinks. Staff is very polite and professional. Room was comfortable and spacious. Room was very clean and equipped with all amenities. Breakfast was very delicious. Vapporetto station is 100 meters from the hotel. You can reach Piazza San Marco in 30 minutes by foot and it is really enjoyable walk. Hotel offers great value for money. Hotel is situated in quiet and residential neighborhood.
