How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The refrigerator was not cold. The pillows were somewhat hard!

No tea/coffee making facilities. Bed very hard. No air conditioning until 1st May due to Italian law which was not stated anywhere. Not accessible to wheelchair users due to stairs from street level to reception and reception to lift. Limited range of drinks in mini- bar in room. Safe in room not bolted to anything so could easily be moved.

Superb location! Three minutes from the train station, 20 mins from the tower, quiet street, felt safe. Excellent breakfast, best cappuccino I had all holiday, lovely warm croissants and very good choice of continental breakfast. Really friendly and competent staff, they took time to answer questions and gave sight seeing advice. I will readily recommend this hotel for a stay in Pisa and as a base for exploring Tuscany by train.

Room was too warm: even with air conditioning we struggled to get it cooler.
Conveniently located near the railway station and only a 20min walk from the Leaning Tower, so it was perfect for a quick scenic night stopover. And wonderfully quiet.

Tourist tax
Hotel is a 2 min walk from pisa Station and offers free WiFi and has a mini bar, friendly staff and lovely breakfast, very good size family room and bathroom, very friendly and helpful staff.

Room was quite small and a little dated but was functional and perfect for a short stay.
Location was amazing right next to the station and room was spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly.

Nothing to not like
Location was excellent as 2 mins away from train station. Nice welcoming frontage and foyer. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and clean. Bit noisy but to be expected in a town centre - take ear plugs if you are bothered by noise. Easy to navigate around La Spezia. Nice coffee shop on the corner for breakfast. This was a great location to explore Cinque Terre.

I can’t fault the hotel apart from the beds which were slightly uncomfortable but for a few nights it’s not an issue!
Amazing location right round the corner from the train station which took us to Florence and Lucca! 15 min walk to the main areas of pisa and the leaning tower and all sorts of bars and restaurants! The staff were lovely and the room was super clean with a lovely bathroom and super quiet!!! They let us store our bags at the hotel on our last day which was great too!!

They couldn't offer an iron. A simple thing I know but quite poor in this day and age. Breakfast was excellent and overall, real value for money.
It was located close to the station which was ideal for us, as we only stayed for one night before continuing our journey to Florence.

Very pleasant helpful staff, 5 minutes from station. Half hour walk to leaning tower. Excellent hotel to use as a base and for station. Nice breakfast. Room clean and pleasant, and good value for money.

The bathroom was a bit flooded when we arrived, and was uncomfortable trying not to step on the puddle. I also didn't like the surroundings of the hotel, I wouldn't like to walk around in the nighttime.
The breakfast was nice, many choices were offered. The room was tidy, comfortable, warm (just warm, not hot) and we had enough space to place our stuff. The shower worked very well.

Room had no view, window opened onto a gap in the building. This wasn’t any problem really.

Wasn't able to get tea/coffee after breakfast, no English speaking chanels on TV, did hear the neighbour chatting on phone, location of hotel is a bit rough ....but back streets of Italy are rough.
Location was great as a base, right near station and walkable into the city centre room was good, bathroom excellent, plenty hot water, clean, bed big , very firm mattress (but that's ok with us) it looked dated but that's because the wardrobe was big and very dark brown...but plenty of room to store clothes. view not great, but it is a city centre , staff nice, breakfast lovely (nothing hot) but plenty to choose from....nice fresh coffee alongside the machine too, fridge in room with water and juice to purchase.
