Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe elevator was slow and felt like it was not going to make it to our floor. The HVAC wouldn't switch to air conditioning but the windows opened and it was a beautiful night so it worked out.
Great style, easy to access from the transportation. Bigger than it looked from outside. The room was adequate, the beds were comfy and the room was clean. Breakfast looked great when we dropped our bags on arrival (they offer luggage storage). Unfortunately we were only there a night and left too easy to enjoy it their food.

United KingdomThe room was too hot , we opened the window the first night but had a mosquito visitor ! Breakfast was included , self service and in a spacious area. There were too many sugary options , cereal , yogurt , cake, croissants , jam . Lots of tea, coffee & orange juice .
The room was lovely, very Venetian . Really easy to walk everywhere. The room was very hot for my daughter and I but other people may like that !

United StatesI did not realize that this is a slightly older hotel, so rooms and decor were a bit dated. However, this is true of many hotels in Venice. Just don't expect modern facilities such as a gym and lobby when you walk in.
The Hotel is right next to the Tre Archi boat/Vaporetto station, which is very convenient. However, it is a couple of stations away from the center of the city. Once I learnt to navigate the Vaporetto lines I was fine. There are also many restaurants and shops close by for dinner and shopping. Hotel and room were clean, and serviced on a daily basis.

United StatesThe hotel must anticipate that it is not suitable for people with physical impediments to climb stairs and offer a room with better access for a client with limitations to arrive. They should improve the air conditioning system and improve and update the bathroom area.
