A comfortable hotel but one that would benefit from a little TLC, though everything worked even if an added hairdryer needed to be included.

A good, if rather old fashioned hotel, in a good quiet location that was still central to most activities. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the young woman in the breakfast room who though could not speak English mimed very eloquently a chicken laying an egg (to say they did not serve eggs) and milking a cow (and there was plenty of that). Thanks

Small shower without hand shower, floor in room somewhat dirty. WiFi works only sometimes, and very slow. Strange guy (relative of staff member?) wandering around breakfast room and staring at guests.

    There was inconsistent internet connectivity.

Great location in Pisa, with nearby restaurants and other places to go. It is quite a walk to the tower but just around 15-20 minutes. Very convenient having a self laundromat just 50 meters away.

Pretty old rundown hotel. Offering breakfast but when we turned up for it, was none available. Finaly the maid came and gave us 2 coffees and two croissants...thats all we got for brakefast.

The hotel is in the historical centre of Pisa. Staff members are nice and helpful.

No toilet paper in room. Anyone could walk in and ask for the key to your room.

Booked last minute as flight home was cancelled. Nice enough hotel, didn't really make the most of it. Flushing the toilet made a horrendous noise that would wake the rest of the hotel.

the place was too old with very bad structure inside of the building, and my room was noisy part with very old and old-fashioned furniture. i did not access to the mobile network at all, and wifi was very poor and bad, also the room was too dark without central light and if you see the pictures the ceiling of room had broken part and seemed to be dangerous.

the staff of the hotel were friendly and nice, the room was clean.

    Nothing.

Excellent staff who helped us after our delayed flight meant we arrived after 22:00. It was no problem at all. Parking was reasonable too, €6 for 24hrs tight outside the front in a nice area which is not the usual, 'bump & bang' parking, so I was happy to park there without worrying about the rental car getting dinged. Lovely classic style rooms which are authentic, not nasty copies. Simple bathrooms with everything you need. Including the strangest hair drying tube thing I've ever seen. More like a vague cleaner turned into a dryer. Breakfast nice and simple but great for a start to the day. If you are unfamiliar with Pisa, this hotel is down by the river. A lovely vibrant part of town in the evening. It's about a 15-20min (tops) walk to the tower but it's a nice walk with plenty to see.

Otherwise, the hotel was a disappointment. The staff was pretty sullen, & didn't seem to change clothes much, or even to care how they were dressed. The air conditioning worked, but was so loud that I had to turn it off in order to sleep. The mini-refrigerator in my room was not working; the staff replaced it with another, but that too was too loud to have on while I was sleeping. The breakfast was pretty meager -- no fruit at all, & not very convincing croissants. The cereal dispenser seemed to require three hands to operate. The coffee machine broke the second day of my stay, & was never repaired. The staff would bring you a hot drink from the bar, but would also just assume you wanted the same drink as the first time, & just bring that again without asking whether you wanted it or not. The waitress was late several times showing up for breakfast.

For my immediate purpose (doing research at the Archivio di Stato), the location couldn't be beat. The WiFi was pretty good, & didn't require a log-in.

Except receptionists, staff is very unpleasant, and they do not speak any language except Italian. Cleaning ladies are very loud in the morning while they clean the hallways, so there is no chance to sleep longer than 8:30, and there is no sign you can put on doors that says do not disturb. They knock on the doors until you wake up, and then you get some Italian shouting, probably to leave the room so they can clean it, but this is not the way i should wake up on my holidays !!!

Location is very good. Hotel is located in very peaceful place. Receptionists will give you all information you need about transportation, and places to see, they speak English language very well. Wifi reception is excellent in all parts of hotel. Taxi fare to Airport is 13euro, but you can walk if you don't carry heavy luggage, about 30 min from airport.

The whole hotel is just outdated. The bathroom had mould on the ceiling and all of the parts just seemed loose. The hotel has very little light. There is little to no natural light and at breakfast we discovered why. Curtains everywhere that "hide" the fact that the surroundings haven't been cleaned in a while. Once we got in our room we also found fingernail clippings on the bed cover... not a nice experience actually. Will not be returning.

The location was perfect, just a few minutes from shops and restaurants and 10 minutes from the leaning tower. The staff was very kind. We can leave our luggage for a long time after the check-out.

Not Hotel's fault but tricky to find in labyrinth of one way streets

Excellent location in centre of Pisa with overnight car parking outside. Helpful staff

Situated next to the (dis-used) church where Galileo was baptised and opposite the house where he was born, this hotel is in a quiet piazza off the beaten track but ideal for exploring the many delights of the splendid Pisa.

A bit far from the station but right amongst the action

    Safe, comfortable stay.
