The property is in an idyllic location set in the countryside of Tuscany near San Gimignano (10 min drive). The property was lovely! The apartment was immaculate and charming. The kitchen had all the essentials for our group of 4 adults, and the bathroom was modern and shower very nice!

We arrived quite late but all was well organized by the friendliest host. Beautiful views from hill top where property is located and nice breakfast. Although villa has a long tradition but is extremely well maintained, beautifull traditional design and decor with all modern ammenties. Just perfect for stay among vineyards.

Stunning small hotel on a beautiful vineyard. The owner is charming. Welcoming & full of ideas for day trips and delicious places to eat. Exquisite sunsets and 2 evenings a week dinner is available. A perfect place to spend a few days.

The room was a bit small to move around in although the bathroom was plenty big. It’s an old farm property to the charm is so wonderful. Bedding is pretty but a bit scratchy.

We liked the location, view, pool and friendly owner and staff. The dinner at the farm was very delicious! We did a wine tour with George and loved it!

We had the warmest welcome, and advice on what to do for the day. Our room had the best view, we would have loved to have stayed a few nights. We booked to have dinner at Il Rosolaccio, we were so happy we did it was the best meal we had in our stay in Italy as well as the most beautiful setting. So much attention to detail, the owners are passionate about their beautiful hotel and could not have done more to make us feel so at home. The breakfast too was absolutely amazing, thank you for arranging an early start for us. We felt so spoilt and appreciated every little detail of our stay.

Everything was great, the only "issue" is that the WiFi not working properly (something that was surely momentary) and 4G is spotty in the area.

The location is truly idyllic, a perfect place for a battery recharge from urban life amidst the rolling tuscan hills. The staff is extremely friendly and always willing to go the extra way. Steve is a wonderful host and beyond helpful with any and every request, as well as George. I could not recommend il Rosolaccio more! :)

We liked everything

The property is in a beautiful setting, with views over the countryside. We were upgraded to a two-bedroom apartment, which was a nice surprise. It was very spacious and comfortable. It was a short drive to San Gimignano and Certaldo where there were some very nice restaurants. We liked having lots of different areas around the grounds with chairs or sun loungers.

Our apartment was very spacious and well equipped but if we were being picky, it was a bit dark inside but not really a problem as we only really slept there!

The most beautiful property located on a ridge with magnificent views towards San Giminiano and all around. We had dinner every evening on the terrace overlooking vineyards and mountains served by the most lovely and courteous ladies including Rebecca and cooked by her mother Marisa. Just perfect.

WiFi did not work in the room and nor did our mobile reception. This was more of a bother than I thought it would be for us! Had to go into the main lounge room every time I needed to use internet (which I'm ashamed to say is more than I thought!) The rooms are a bit dated but that sort of goes with the charm of the place.

Great views over the Tuscan landscape, the pool is so nice to relax by in the afternoon. Very relaxed atmosphere overall. Nice staff. Family-run feel but you can keep to yourself as well. Free parking on site. Short drive to San Gimingano and about a 50-minute drive from Florence. Was good to have a minibar in the room and tea and coffee making facilities are in an adjoining loungeroom nearby. Air conditioning worked really well.

- Internet was so weak, it was practically nonexistent. - While the rooms are very clean, they were a little dated and could use some updating. We had two rooms, in one of the rooms the shower head didn’t work well, but luckily we could use the other shower. Dinner was disappointing. The food was tasty but lacked variety. - The air conditioning was week. During our 4-day stay the temperatures were above 95deg and the unit couldn’t keep the room cold enough, though find that this is a typical issue in Europe during the summer months.

The location is unbeatable. Situated on top of the hill, we were able to enjoy the beautiful views, incredible sunsets and much needed evening breezes on 90+ deg days. The pool is also great! As well as the breakfast. All in all a good stay!
