The air-condition did not function. There was no central heat in the room despite the fact that the temperature in night outside was 8 degrees. Another problem was that from my room I could hear very easily the rooms next to me .

The staff was very polite. The room was very clean. There were many parking places outside of the hotel and a Gaz station next to it.

Everything is a bit outdated and could use some changing, the doors squeak and you can hear people walking up the staors to the top floor from your room.

The bed was nice, the room set up nicely, everything was clean. The garden is wonderfull, stayed there for an hour and a half with our daughter till sundown. Perfectly maintained and safe for kids.

Very rustic style just as the name suggests. The owner is a lovely men and rest of the staff were friendly. I’ve only stayed a night because i was only here for my friends wedding . Beautiful garden and a huge restaurant space. The room was very spacious, the bed was huge and the bathroom was also big. Clean,and nice style. Thank you for helping me wrapping the the wedding bouquet 💐☺️

Unfortunately, as is often the case, when you book a hotel, you only see the nice photos, but the reality can be very different. In this case, the hotel Il Rustichello in Lonato del Garda turned out to be in a very sparsely populated, almost empty area. There were no places around except for a gas station and one pizzeria, which often closed in the summer. There was no mention anywhere that the hotel’s restaurant service would be unavailable because the entire staff had gone on vacation. So if you got hungry at night, there was simply nowhere to eat and you’d have to drive quite far to the next town just to find food. The hotel itself had a very rustic style with very old furnishings and an inconvenient room layout. There was no mini-bar, lots of stairs but no elevator, so if you had heavy luggage, you couldn’t carry it up easily. The only person really worth praising was an employee named Andrea, who was very kind and explained everything well, but of course he couldn’t change the reality of the situation. The beds were uncomfortable, the air conditioning was old and yellowed, and it blew directly on your head all night. You couldn’t open the windows because it was hot and there were mosquitoes, so you just had to endure the uncomfortable draft. The closets were inconveniently placed, the room was small, the corridors were not air-conditioned and smelled unpleasant. They were long and narrow, and you wouldn’t see many people around. In the morning, breakfast was very poor because the restaurant was closed. Overall, the hotel left a very unpleasant impression.

Our second stay here, and it lived up to our expectations. No restaurant on a Sunday, but wonderful pizza restaurant nearby (be warned, one-third is enough unless you play rugby!) Hotel breakfast buffet offered a large selection, and air-con was available in our room. Ample en-suite bathroom, and a lovely hotel garden with seats and shade. Welcoming, attentive staff. Recommended

Air cond not working. Room very hot. Locks on door not secure. Could not get us a room with A/C and offered smaller downstairs room but we declined and found an alternate hotel.
