There was no coffee or tea making facilities in the room, beds were not comfy, our view from the room was a derelict building: such a shame in a beautiful place.

Beautiful location, little town was great: supermarket, restaurants, coffee shops and hairdressers. Staff were so helpful and friendly.

Advertises shuttle to Sorrento but this has to be pre-booked and if planning evening trips need min of 6 people otherwise incur cost of 36 euro. Not in Sorrento town in fact 50 min walk from Sorrento. Address is Santagata. Bar was overpriced. Outmoded decor, needs a revamp.

Clean. Pleasant breakfast staff and excellent buffet. Comfortable rooms. Stunning views. Pool well kept.

The "queen" bed was just two full beds pressed together, which got annoying since there was a separation in the middle that kept slowly spreading apart through the night. Also, the rooms were nice but you could hear some guests in the adjoining rooms.

The view from our room was amazing. The staff all spoke english and were super helpful and kind. They had so many services available like laundry, ironing, transportation, booking for excursions. Wonderful stay and I would love to go there again.

The hotel was a little ran down. It should have been a great place years ago. However it has not been updated and due to that has a look and felling of an old place.

Good location. A little far from Sorrento busy downtown, but yet a great location. Great view from the room, Vesuvius vulcano. Staff was very good and helpful.

Breakfast is good but it's almost exactly the same everyday. It could be more varied.

The Hotel was in a beautiful location. Would recommend booking the room with a view. St Agata is a lovely village with lovely restaurants and is only a short walk from the hotel The hotel bar was really nice to sit in and enjoy a nite-cap - or two!. Shuttle services to Sorrento were very well organised. We booked two tours with the hotel to see Amalfi & Positano and Capri and were very pleased with these. Would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to the Amalfi Coast.

Could have provided information with the booking about how to get to the hotel from Sorrento on arrival. We ended up getting a taxi up the hill which cost over €50. More details about where and when to catch the hotel shuttle service before arriving would have been useful.

Beautiful views and a lovely terrace for evening drinks. Really close to San Agata and its restaurants.

The hotel was as expected: a big, used-to-be-nice, warn-down hotel. We already expected this though, so it was no problem, but if you expect luxury, you should look somewhere else. The pool was nice, but closes at 6 pm already, much to soon, as we enjoyed our days out exploring, and it would have been nice to come home for a swim before going out for dinner! The breakfast is not very good, nothing is homemade, the coffee is instant and the selection of food is bad - the breakfast is served in the basement inside, a bit strange when you have such a nice out door area.

The location of the hotel was great for us, in the middle if Sant'Agate, a cosy, tiny town in the mountains. The pool area was great and the view from the pool and terrace amazing! We booked a standard room in the back, which meant no view, but a good and clean room, which provide a good night sleep. The staff was nice and friendly and the shuttle bus service great.

They are not helpful, rooms pour, no internet in the rooms, elevator very old. Swming pool very cold. There is no entertainment at the hotel. Happy hour just offer drinks, you can not order any snack. Breakfast always the same food, never change.

Terrible hotel and services. Really not a good option. Also if want to visit Amalfi Coast stay in sorrento and choose a hotel close to a parking area. It will be the best option. This hotel is bad and their tours suggestions very poor. Staffs rude and not attention. Mainly an old woman in short hair.

These are only suggestions - overall we loved the whole holiday ! But the following would have been the icing on the cake and thought you'd like to know...Wifi was slow and only in common areas. Tea bags at breakfast were weak, different ones at lunch were perfect. Pillows very hard ! Overly limited hours for pool access and pool snack bar.

View was fantastic from the terrace and pool area. Snack bar at lunchtime was very good value. Cleanliness all round very impressive. Location was nice nice to be out of main town. Staff were helpful, very polite. Bus travel was a necessity for us but was very regular to both Sorrento and Amalfi and cheap to take.

The first room we were given did not have a balcony and had 3 single beds despite booking a room with a large double and the website saying all rooms had balconies. We had to pay an extra €150 for a balcony room.

Described as being 1.5 miles from Sorrento town centre, which it is as the crow flies. A taxi journey from the hotel to Saint Agnello on the west side of Sorrento cost €52. Hotel is described as being 4 star which I woukd dispute.

Hotel is old, in terms of paper thin walls, we could not get any sleep because people were slamming the door, as well you can hear from other bathrooms, talking from the outside etc. We were room number 73, room was extremely small, our window was on the side of someone's garden, so we could hear dogs barging early every morning and during the night. Sometimes if people are enjoying their garden until 3am we could hear everything, and it was hard to sleep. Since all rooms are extremely small and old, I would definitely suggest room with the terrace, because of the view. At least you will know why you are paying so much. There is no wi fi. They offer Internet only in the lobby, but it does not work properly. They don't have iron, you have to pay for that. We were out the whole day, hotel was there only for sleeping and we could not get even that. Staff is ok.

Sea view is breathtaking, and interior Mediterranean style is really nice, terrace as well

Shuttle service for evening runs to Sorrento only had 1 shuttle at 6.30pm and return wasn't till 11.30pm! Which meant you couldn't get to bed till midnight. This service was not free at €6 per person each way. Compared to other hotels which offered free hourly service this seemed very inconvenient for a 4* hotel and we were lucky enough for the other nearby hotel to board us for a free lift back to hotel Jaccarino. If you are happy to pay €55 for a taxi back from Sorrento which is only 15 mins away then you wouldn't mind the lack of service. The WiFi was only good in the reception area and you had to reconnect everyday. We were on the 3rd floor but we could never connect to the WiFi. The check in brief could have been better as we had to keep asking about everything. I.e. which restaurant is breakfast served? Where can we get pool towels?, Etc.

Room and hotel were very clean and had beautiful scenic views day and night. The pool was clean and set where perfect views of Capri can be seen. Staff were friendly and helpful whenever needed.

Whilst the whole hotel is very mederterain the hard floors and narrow corridors make it quiet noisy especially when people are coming back late in evening or leaving early.

Fabulous hotel in a quiet area. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Most of the employees are very unfriendly! Especially Sylvia at the reception gives you the feeling that you are not welcome. It feels like most of the people don't like to work in this hotel. An exception is the driver of the hotel bus. Many people are reserving pool beds with their towels and keep them unused for hours!! And the bar/pool employees don't take any action, aldough it's against the pool rules.... It's certainly no 4stars hotel, very outdated.

Everything! Mr. Martello and his staff are awesome. They went out of their way to make sure everything we requested was perfectly arranged. The views and village are incredible. Note to USA travelers: Do not bring any $500 Euro notes (no matter what your bank tells you). They are not accepted in most places and being phased out in Italy altogether. Noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in with miserable staff that seemed to have the joy sucked out of them. I can't impress on how noisy this place is with no carpet or rugs anywhere.. The whole place echoes plus the lift goes ding ding loudly all night and church bells ring until mid night. A hotel is being renovated next door and all day there was intermittent drilling. All the room doors bang and clang so you are awake with the last guests to retire and up with the earliest ones. Wifi only works in a communal area by the reception and this attracts silent phone zombies sitting in there all day. We asked to up grade our room to a sea view and were told they would have to ask the manager. There was no response so I asked at reception and the woman said we had been " put on a waiting list" I've read this has been said to other guests elsewhere amongst the reviews. On booking.com sea view rooms were still showing available. Our balcony looked out into someone's roof terrace and kitchen air conditioning units that smelt of cooking meat in the morning. The pool is nice and the view from the bar terrace stunning- but this area seemed to lack any lustre or energy. My advice is don't go there!

The location... It's in a lively little town with great eating places and the fit can walk along old donkey roads into Sorrento and to a secluded beach

Breakfast 😕 we were there four days but the spread did not change. The best thing on the table were fruits. Not what you would expect from four star. Bread and torte uninspiring. Coffee very sad which for Italy is a sacrilege.

No wifi available except for in the foyer. This is ridiculous as its not 1990. Even a 10 year old kid was appalled by this and commented to his mother what do they mean wifi is only in the foyer!! Haha it's so sad it was hilarious.... Everyone is travelling from overseas and needs to be connected to the world. This then means everyone is hunched over on their phones crowded around the front desk and foyer. Definitely stay well away from the 3rd party scooter business the hotel recommends - unless you want to be left waiting for hours from them to actually turn up! Their customer service was an absolute disgrace and didn't even apologise for making us waste our time. The hotel should be accountable for this and not wash your hands of it when problems occur absolutely appalling service from both parties. You should sack the scooter business or risk losing more of your own business we would never return to this hotel ever!!!

All wood furnitures, curtains and bed spreads should be renewed. There were some kind of small insects in the room due to the very old wood furnitures I guess. The bathroom of a 4* hotel should not be like this. Shower curtain? Do not expect much at breakfast, 1 kind of cheese, not so freshly baked breads, croissants, small industrial hotel jams, butter , boiled eggs and scrambled eggs. There was also ham for who are interested and thats all. Tea and coffee served to tables. Wi-fi!!!! Only works well in front of the reception, very funny and pathetic for a 4* hotel.

Our room had a balcony and the view was great. Luch at snack bar was great, much better than we expected. Nice village with nice restaurants very close to hotel Gentleman who carried our luggage was very polite. Very old and dated hotel, it is far from any shops/restaurants, located in an unreachable area. The rooms are small and the bed sheets didn't smell clean, they do not give iron or ironing board but they charge per item if you need anything ironing. They don't even give ice free, you have to pay for a few ice cubes. Breakfast is also very poor. Total rip off. Would not recommend at all!!

Reception staff was very curt. Dinner menu was terrible. Nothing Italian about it. I think it catered to their British clients

Lovely view and pool. The shuttle service to Sorrento was useful as it was so far. Property was quite nice and in a nice little village with a couple of good restaurants

The room was very dark and cold and the bed wasn't very comfortable. The location of the hotel was nice but too far away from Sorrento, and there s not much to do in Sant Agata.

Breakfast was nice, didn't have dinner, but found a lovely restaurant nearby.
