Decor tired and dark and needs brightening up. Would not choose to stay for a holiday base (i.e. 5-7 days) but just for a 1-2 night stay.

We have used this hotel before as a stopover on our journey from Italy to France and would just use it for this reason. It is ideally located on the beach-front and close to bars and restaurants. We previously stayed here with our dog who, unfortunately, was not with us on this occasion but would have certainly had the same friendly welcome he had previously received had he been with us. Overall, it met our needs of a stop-over on our way home.

The hotel is in a fantastic location right near Oneglia harbour which is very pretty and has a fair amount of decent restaurants in walking distance. The hotel itself is pretty outdated and the rooms are fairly small but clean and all you need for a short stay. The staff are friendly enough but with the language barrier it was difficult to communicate. Tried to ask for a bottle of white wine, and was told they only had one bottle that was open so I could have a glass!! Its a hotel in Italy! I wouldn't have imaged that would be a problem.

    Manager.

Almost nothing to choose for breakfast. Staff speak almost no English. Some things in the room didn’t work or were broken. Repairing not on the same day. Cold water out of the shower. Fixed after 2 days.

Better Italian breakfast than normal, with eggs. Very friendly staff, good coffee. We rented bicycles from the hotel 2 days for free. Had an excellent trip towards SanRemo++ along the nicely converted railway track (35 km one way). Recomended! There is a bicycle shop Tuttosport at Via Genrale Manuel Belgrano 37 where they have pump outside shop, and lots of tools inside.

The restaurant was no longer open for evening meals and there wasn't air conditioning in the bedrooms.

A great location, sea front, quiet at night and close to some excellent sea front restaurants.

the breakfeast was very unimaginative, the same cheese, the same ham every day, bread and croissant so lala, the capuccini great

We loved the cleanliness of the hotel, of the room and of the bathroom including the frequent replacements of towels and bedcloths

It is an old hotel, not very well maintained. All carpets are stained and damaged. The bath tub without any curtain/shade makes the shower not so comfortable. The overall experience was not so pleasant, however the hotel was clean and without serious issues. It is just not so good.

The cleanliness was ok and the position on the seaside close to Oneglia Marina.

Pillows, musty and hotel allows pets.

Big rooms and convenient location. Hotel would have been grand 10 years ago and is in bad need of a freshen up. All day free parking outside the front a bonus.

Says they do room service, they don't. Says they speak english... it's very minimal. Shower did not heat up and was freezing cold. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Very old school interior decor, and not enough lighting in the rooms.

Good location to the port and shops.

This was my second visit to Kristina, the first was two years ago. The staff are friendly, the rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable and the breakfast is great! The location couldn't be better, on the promenade at the sea front and within two minutes walk you're in amongst the restaurant area of the port .

Shower was not very good and the water pressure was poor so didn't do anything special!! Room was quite dark, as unable to open the window, which had a closed blind on it as it overlooked a private residence's verranda. Got quite warm in the room and air con unavailable at the time. Tea/coffee making provision would have been nice.

Liked the location of the hotel, which was directly opposite the beach and promenade. Also 2 minutes from main town and bars and restaurants and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Very pet friendly and accommodating. Breakfast had a good choice of breads, cakes, condiments, juices and cereals. The room was comfortable. Free street parking is available directly outside the hotel, so very convenient. TV and mini-bar.

Hot water takes a while to come through, but when it comes, its hot enough!! Just a tip to save the wait and shock of that cold water hitting you!!

It was all about location for us in this particular town. Free car parking in front of the hotel was a bonus. The staff were very nice and accomodated our needs.
