Rooms were very warm…junior suite only had vents in the front room, not the room with the beds. The shower had no shelf for soap, shampoo etc. so everything had to be on the floor of the shower

It seems trivial perhaps but the pillows are a little too soft for our taste. Nevertheless this is a great hotel.

The location is excellent. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is great and the hotel is just beautiful - an oasis of elegant calm in a busy city. I would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to my friends.

Lift has a tendency to break down! Fortunately there is more than one lift!

Excellent location within easy reach of the tram and historic centre. Great staff. Comfortable rooms. Great view from the breakfast room.

We purposely booked the facility because of the Duomo view on the rooftop restaurant, however during our stay it was not accessible. There was no notification on the email that it was not going to be accessible. There was not enough space in the bistro where they direct us to have breakfast. There were four of us that ended up sitting on a small table intended for 2. We asked if we can get a discount, but the receptionist just ignored us.

Clean and well kept facility. Close to the train station and point of interests. We enjoyed our stay in Florence having a comfortable bed to sleep after a tiring day.

Everything was amazing. Every luxury imaginable was fulfilled without even asking from the comfortable bed to the excellent toiletries provided. We could not have been more spoiled.

Although breakfast is good and the staff really helpful the venue is too small to accommodate many hotel residents at once and we had to wait a few mornings for a table to become available Sometimes there was a very bad sewer smell hanging in the lobby and bar area, but we found this in other shops as well. Also, because it is a pet friendly hotel ,you are sure to have the smell of dog urine around the hotel and the whole Tuscany to be honest.

The hotel is in a great location on the Santa Maria Novella Square with the Florence Duomo, David sculpture and Ponte Vecchio within walking distance.

What a luxurious stay! From the rooms, the beautiful marble bathroom and the common areas, we had the most wonderful time. The service can not be faulted. Looking out on the square and so close to everything we could want or need.

Our superior room on the second floor was comfortable but very dark. Space to hang clothes and put suitcases was limited and the window looked on to an inner courtyard. Breakfast was okay witty lots of choice but not the quality we have had in other hotels in Italy.

Excellent location and stylish interior. Staff very polite and efficient. Good large bathroom and shower. Appreciated the complimentary mineral water each day and good air conditioning. We liked the fact you could walk to all the main attractions very easily and the square where the hotel was located had a lovely atmosphere, lively but not at all noisy.

Room was fabulous, large with a view of the square. Location within walking distance of the train station but also within really easy reach of all the major sites in Florence. Beautiful square outside the hotel to watch the world go by, lots of small restaurants nearby. Reception very helpful with directions, transport arrangements and advice.
