Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing to dislike. The villa is positioned towards the top of Positano, which involves plenty of walking but this is not a bad thing - i.e. helps to work off the pasta and wine.
The owners were very helpful before and during our stay. The villa is beautifully appointed with excellent views.

United KingdomNot accessible to cars but a short 2 min walk was doable. This was not really a bad thing as it was quiet and peaceful there away from any noise.
Very well presented with all the facilities. A sitting room and kitchenette was well equipped. The hot tub was awesome and sitting area outside was very secluded and had fabulous views of the bay. Everything was new and attention to detail was excellent. Even a Dyson hairdryer was provided. The host was very welcoming and provided information and useful telephone numbers for transport and local tours. Breakfast was nicely laid out and very fresh. The host even provided free gifts of Prosecco and soft drinks aswell as tea and coffee. Communication was very good

Saudi ArabiaNothing.
This is really a hidden gem in positano. The villa is well maintained and has history and Cosy vibe to it. The views are stunning from the suit or the breakfast area. However, you have to be a person looking for a good view and a quite getaway l. If you are here to party or with kids, this is not the place for you. I spent days researching, and this is pretty much the best positano can offer to our taste. In fact, we changed hotels to be here. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The setting on the large balcony, made every morning an event we look up to. We spent many nights in the huge balcony enjoying the stunning view, we even sunbathed for a couple of days when the beach was crowded. The location was superb, close to everything yet, away from crowds and offering that stunning panorama of the harbor. The garden was beautiful, and a nice natural lobby. Peppe and Elina were great hosts. They helped us pick destinations and great restaurants.

United States of AmericaThe only thing possibly worth noting is the breakfast is more of a cold buffet. Some hot items would be nice but the stuff they do have is high quality. We just enjoy some eggs in the morning. Also be prepared for a lot of stairs and walking. This is all of Positano and not just this resort. If you can’t walk stairs this isn’t the city for you. Just something good to know.
Beautiful property with amazing view of Positano. It is also in a rare private area of the city so it isn’t as over run by tourists. The rooms are extremely comfortable and clean. Service was excellent We rented scooters and drove the coast! It was such a fun thing to do

United States of AmericaIt was far to walk from the port but it’s also the beauty of it as the views are beautiful and the hotel is away from the crowds and crowded areas. It’s not a negative unless you have mobility issues.
The breakfast was excellent in a beautiful antique like setting. The view from the villa is very nice. The staff was ready to assist with any questions or requests. The owner was known by all which made it easy to ask for directions. The toiletries were luxurious and the room spacious.

CanadaWe were delighted with both the service and the quality of the property. Peppe was super accommodating and arranged for our transfers to and from Naples and then changed them after flight delays. Elena greeted us on arrival and a staff member carried our bags to the suite. The property is the perfect distance from the main road, providing peace and tranquility, while still being very convenient. Elena took time to orient us to both the villa and the geography, which was important given the vertical layout of the town. It is 20 minutes at a very relaxed pace to the main beach, and 30 minutes at that same pace to walk across town. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous and we were told they have the largest private gardens in Positano. Beautifully decorated public spaces are available for guests in the main villa. We stayed in the CMR Royal Suite which had the most astonishing views. The cleanliness and state of the rooms, and indeed the property itself, was exceptional and indicative of not only the high degree of professionalism in the operation and maintenance of the property, but the pride and love you get with a family owned business. Our suite was spacious and wonderfully appointed. Pictures and description are exactly as described on their well designed website. As spectacular as the Amalfi Coast is, it was always a pleasure to return to Casa di Peppe at the end of a busy day, it really is an oasis. The La Casa di Peppe website says “buffet breakfast” which is an understatement. The dining room table was loaded with an astonishing variety of baked goods, fruit, cheese, bread, pancakes, cake and other items. Meat and cheese are available as is your choice of excellent caffeinated beverage. The breakfast balcony was the perfect place to combine the wonderful view and breakfast and once again, the service was superlative. A fantastic way to start the day. While on the subject of food, Peppe provided us dining recommendations for Positano that proved to be exce

United States of AmericaNothing! Seriously, La Casa Di Peppe is everything that everyone writes about AND more. Nothing better than a boutique hotel (that only accommodates 14 people) to make you feel like it's your own private villa in one of the most stunning locales on the globe.
Breakfast was in the main room daily, with seating on the outside terrace to enjoy the views while sipping coffee. Great continental breakfast served by a hostess, and a good selection of pastries, fruit, cheese, granola, cereal, etc.
