The owner of the b&b is amazing and very helpful. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast is great with a lot of choices. The hotel is also well located, 15 min from the center by foot in an area where you can park easily. Highly recommend

This is not against the B&B but if you have mobility issues you will need to walk up some stairs to reach the elevator and some of the rooms and reaching the breakfast room requires going up and down two steps. Our room faced the sun and the awning was not functional so we could not enjoy the balcony during the afternoon.

The kindness of the managers helped us arrange transportation to and from the Catania Airport. The B&B is very close to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Tears, the Catacombs of San Giovanni, the Archaeological Museum was across the street, about a 10-minute walk to reach the Archaeological Park, and a 30-minute walk to the center. There is a HOHO bus stop across the street near the Catacombs that was handy for reaching Ortega (10 euros each). Our room was a double room with a balcony that also had a drying rack. There was a mini fridge and air conditioner which was very handy for the summer heat. Good breakfast with enough variety and very good coffee. Below there is a bar where you could get a meal or gelato. We had an early flight and the manager arranged an early breakfast for us. Thank you.

The room is close to teatro romano, walking distance about 10 min max, the same for the city center - around 15-17 minutes. the room was clean and hotel-like:) I liked the breakfast and very helpful elder man who made us perfect coffee! the stuff is very helpful, one of them even shorten his lunch break to give us a possibility to pick up the left luggage

A real hiden gem. Very friendly, english spoken landlord, who was very helpfull and kind concerning all our questions. He helped us to use the free public transport to the old town, and all little details had been given to us about restaurants and what to visit or to see. The Archeological Park is very close, and the old town can be reached in 10 minutes by the free bus. We were 4, and the room situated on the 3rd floor - where this cosy B&B is located - was spacious and confy. Morning the breakfast is tipical sicilian; mostly sweets in the focus. All are home made! Little Canoli, sweet bread, cookies. Coffee is also in the price (espresso, cappuccino etc) upon requuest they make it immidiately. Cold, bottled water can be bought on site, for regular value. We stayed 1 night, but regarding how beautiful city Siracuse is, next time we stay more.

A chest of drawers in the Junior Suite could be useful (replacing one of the extra beds).

We had a great stay. Amazing breakfast, including homemade ricotta pastry and pistachio cream. Gianfranco and his father were kind and thoughtful. The Junior Suite has plenty of room, including a balcony, which is convenient in the summer. The B&B is conveniently located not far from Ortigia (less than 10min cycling), and next to the 'Santuario della Madonnina delle Lacrime', an attraction for the faithful which is worth a visit. Free car parking was largely available in the nearby (Christmas time). Exceptional B&B for breakfast and value for money.

The receptionist who was a woman. We were driving from Palermo to Siracusa and we weren't sure at what time we would arrive. Additionally, our internet didn't work properly so we couldn't communicate much with the receptionist. The check-in finished at 8pm and we arrived at 8.45pm, therefore we didn't arrive too late (it's not like it was 2 in the morning). As soon as we got there, she was angry at us and she told us off for being late as she had to leave. I felt her behaviour was very inappropriate, as a hotel should help guests to settle in and not tell them off for arriving at a different time. Really bad experience, we won''t stay in this hotel again.

The receptionist (a man) was very polite with us in the morning and made the check out very easily.

There was very little water to shower with. After flushing the toilet it took quite a while till the shower was working at all ;)
