Nothing, really. I would point out that there are quite a number of stairs to navigate, which would be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. The rooms could use an electric kettle.

We had such an amazing stay at La Palombara. Thanks in large part to the hospitality of our hosts, Giovanna and Andrea. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were delicious, complete with fresh eggs and fruit from the property, Giovanna's sweet treats, and home-made jams. The packaged breakfasts on the days we had early starts were also pretty special. The shuttle service to the village was very convenient. Oh, and I forgot to mention the views over the Bay of Naples and the most spectacular sunsets.

Peaceful Paradise by the Sea Giovanna’s place is an absolute gem! The location is stunning—perched above the sea with views that took our breath away. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and beautifully decorated with so much charm. The room was cozy and stylish. We loved spending time in the garden, the comfy lounge area, and especially the whirlpool. Breakfast on the terrace each morning was such a treat—great home-made food with an even better view. Giovanna is a fantastic host—so kind, helpful, and welcoming. She made sure everything was perfect and really made us feel at home. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful escape with incredible views and warm hospitality.

Beautiful surrounding gardens, rooms bright and extremely clean. The property had everything we needed. Amazing Giovanna provided fresh fruits and vegetables from her garden that are delicious. Giovanna provided lots of information about anything you wish to know and was super helpful. The shuttle bus was always ready and waiting for us to take us where we needed to go.very professional driver lovely gentleman.

The only minor thing I can think of was the temperature of the pool which was not warmed and therefore chilly to dip entirely.

We were so warmly welcomed by Giovanna and Andrea, who were always so kind and helpful to drive us to the parking and help us with booking restaurants or other requests. The location and the view are magnificent: unbelievable how cars pass through these small streets of Vico Equense. Breakfast was excellent and the house products prepared by Giovanna were delicious. Perfect location overlooking the sea with downtown Vico Equense to the left and Mt Vesuvio to the right. Giovanna and her family were so helpful and went above and beyond for us. Open space with beautiful sea view, gorgeous flowers to compliment the garden. Everything about the property was set out to perfection in the most delightful way possible. The attention to detail and beautiful surroundings made for the most perfect and relaxing holiday. The host and her family made us feel so welcomed and were very attentive. The location is a little difficult to get to but they offer drives if you don’t want to walk.

The property has an exceptional view of the ocean and mount Vesuvius. It’s a quiet place away from the noise of the towns. Giovanna is an excellent host. She always made sure we had what we needed, she booked our excursions and even packed us a lunch on those days. We had the smaller room but it was comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and everything is homemade. The BNB is also close to the train station which is convenient if you want to go to Sorrento, Pompéi or Naples.

This place is perfect. The property is absolutely enchanting and the room was spotless. The view is amazing and the entire property is so charming. Fruits growing all around, beautiful green grass and a scenic breakfast area. Giovanna and her husband are so kind and accommodating. We arrived early and they picked us up from the train station for our luggage. They provide free shuttle service to the main town even though it’s walkable. We were there for our honeymoon/anniversary and they helped arrange a special anniversary surprise with cake/wine that my husband requested. As well as making dinner reservations for us the evening we arrived. The complimentary breakfasts are delicious, with a lot of variety and the view is better than any restaurant we went to. It’s also conveniently located. Right by the train station which is a 12 minute ride to Sorrento and you can quickly get to Positano as well. You will love this place, I’m sure. I would really not change a thing.

It was absolutely stunning, beautiful and clean. But if the view, atmosphere and scenery wasn’t perfect enough, the “staff”, were like an extended family member, giving their best for us to feel welcomed and at home. It was perfect!!

This is such a special place, perfect setting, beautiful views, the loveliest hosts - Giovanna and Andrea so welcoming and helpful. Pretty room, delightful terrace overlooking sea, the most delicious breakfasts, with home-grown fruit, omelettes from their own hens' eggs, home-made preserves. A memorable place to stay!

Where do I begin? We were greeted at the train station in the beautiful vico equense by our amazing hosts Giovanna and Andrea. They were so warm and welcoming and made us feel at home. They introduced us to their absolutely stunning property and told us that their home is now our home. The views are incredible. We felt like part of their lovely family. Carmine is their son who also helps out with driving you around the local town when you need it. They attend to your every need and made our trip so special. And the breakfast, wow! So much variety and lots of home made jams etc. And again, the view at breakfast is just magical. To summarise, it was beautiful, it was idyllic, it was romantic and it was amazingly Italian. You have to stay here. We are so sad to go home and we will miss you Giovanna, Andrea and Carmine!

Giovanna was the best host one could possibly ask for. She was very considerate, sweet and accommodating. The food tasted like it was fresh from the farm and it was all cooked by her using her homegrown tomatoes, lemons, eggs and what not. There was absolutely nothing that we didn’t like. If I could score more I would.

Everything. The hospitality of Giovanna & Andre was impeccable. The view was amazing. Breakfast was beautiful. Andre’s cappuccino’s was great each morning. Giovanna’s cooking was delicious. They were the perfect hosts and I’ll be recommending La Palombara to everyone. It was central to Sorrento and about an hour and 15minutes by train to Naples. Andre and Giovanna provided free shuttle service into town but the walk was beautiful with the views and only about 15 minutes. I will miss these beautiful people. They were so very kind.

Giovanna is a wonderful host who works incredibly hard to make her guests happy throughout their entire stay. She and her husband Andrea went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible experience while staying at her B&B. She provided an incredible breakfast each morning with a beautiful view! We highly recommend staying at her property if you are looking to get off the beaten path but still be within earshot of the Amalfi Coast.

Our host Giovanna was nothing less than amazing!! She was extremely welcoming and very attentive and responds quickly. Her and her family take the time to accommodate you in the best ways possible. Her property in Vico Esquence is like a dream, it is simply paradise. Once you arrive she offers a shuttle to pick you up and take you to the property. It is breath taking and definitely worth it!!! The views are incredible don’t hesitate and just do it! Giovanna takes the time to prep organic breakfast right from her farm. The train station is just a 10 min walk if you want to explore Sorrento and the town center is just a few minutes walk as well. The only complain I have is I wish I stayed longer.
