The property was beautiful and we loved the garden patio area for breakfast. We were very grateful to be able to spend the morning outside after checkout, as we had a late flight out of Genoa. All the staff were so lovely and friendly, we really cannot fault our stay at this property. Thank you so much for having us!

The bathroom floor could have done with a mop but it wasn’t a major issue.

We loved the apartment set up in the old town area & the garden space, surprisingly situated on the 4th floor terrace, was a lovely spot for breakfast or relaxing with a book. Staff were friendly & helpful.

Fantastic location - a 5 min walk to the main Piazza de Ferrari square with the big fountain. It was handy to pop back into the room during the day to have a little refresh /change of clothes before going out for an evening meal. Friendly staff, ready to help. Kettle in the room, with a selection of teas and coffee. We also got a lovely bottle of cava to welcome us; it was a lovely surprise. Ease of access - coded key; very safe. Breakfasts were delightful - ham, cheese, pastries baked onsite; pre-order (of whatever you fancy!) for your chosen morning slot ensures there is no food waste, which we love. Staff of different ages were very welcoming and super professional. Clean facilities. Our most enjoyable thing - which we have never had the joy to benefit from before in any other hotels/ b&b - was the terrace where we not only had breakfast but also a glass of fizz/wine/ tea in the evening - a stunning, family friendly, money saving option. We bought a bottle of wine, some nibbles from the deli just 4 doors down and had a lovely time admiring the view. An absolute treat! Room was spacious with very effective aircon (it was over 30 degrees when we were there), with windows that blocked any outside traffic so we slept very well. We will definitely return.

Everything was exceptional!

I loved staying at Il Giardino della Tartaruga! The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent, and the location was great. On top of all those attributes, the breakfasts were outstanding! Homemade foccaccia and pastries were just one surprise the first morning I had breakfast at the Bnb; being served at my table was another. It was also nice to eat in the garden (so glad the weather cooperated). Overall, this is in the top 2 Bnb experiences I had in my 7 weeks of travel in Italy this summer. Don't miss it, if you're coming to Genoa.

A very nice accommodation with a great location to walk to the city center of Genoa. The room has a very nice atmosphere and is very clean. The staff is very friendly. The stay was generally very well organized. Before my arrival I received a detailed description of how to access the house and room. Every evening I made my wishes for breakfast known. I ate breakfast on a wonderful balcony and had the best focaccia in town. A nice side effect: the B&B is run by people with disabilities as part of a project - great!

Amazing property in the heart of Genoa. The accommodations were excellent, clean, comfortable and beautiful. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We have three young children and the staff helped us with cab reservations, destinations in the city, and helping us with earlier than normal time breakfast meals so that we could catch our flight. I absolutely recommend this beautiful B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with a beautiful garden in Genoa.

Everybody was very friendly, especially the host - she gave us some advice where exactly to go to the seaside. The place was super clean. You will find a bottle of champagne in your room and you can drink it in the beautiful terrace. We had the best croissants in the city during the breakfast. The breakfast was simply but everything was very delicious. You can find a lot of gluten free options here. Great place near to the city center. There are good places to have a dinner around.

Everything was wonderful - the location, staff, and the property exceeded our expectations. The terrace garden (part of the hotel) and lift to the Castelleto nearby is worth exploring.
