It is not so close to the city center, but ok to go walking on a sunny day.

Very comfortable room, with excellent installations. Very clean. Small fridge with water in the room (replaced every day for free) and coffee and tea disponible also for free in the room and at the hall.

1. Loading/unloading luggages can be an issue (busy street) 2. Parking is 900m away, for us not really a problem 3. The room was too warm and we wanted to use the aircon, we were told the aircon was deactivated and we can’t use it - the solution was to open the window but then we found mosquitos coming in. 4. Shared balcony, lack of privacy, you can have people walking/smoking outside your window 5. The bathroom sliding door not working properly, very hard to open/ close 6. Bad soundproofing 7. Wifi is poor/ unstable

We were extremely impressed with the apartment for many reasons. The apartment is conveniently located just 100 meters from the entrance to the Boboli Gardens, so if you are a tourist like us, we recommend going there right away and exiting it at the Pitti Palace a mere stone's throw away from the city centre. There is an Urban Gym some 20 meters away from the apartment! So you don't have to miss your workouts. There is a bus stop as you exit the building. There are lots of grocery stores and all sorts of amenities nearby. The apartment itself is richly furnished, with tall ceilings and a nice common area with a free coffee machine. The beds are comfortable. Everything is clean and neat. Windows are soundproofed so no noises are coming from the street below. In short, we highly recommend it. Excellent value for this price.

Place can have a basic kitchen setup to heat food etc. as majority of the restaurants shut by 8.30-9pm and you may want to enjoy a pre cooked meal at your stay

Unfortunately, the heater wasn’t working but the host was really kind and offered a portable heater for comfort.

The most luxurious and gorgeous stay in Florence! A wonderful location in close walking distance from the train station and to great stores. A supermarket is close by too. The room was equipped with tea, coffee and bottled water - both still and sparkling! A lovely balcony and facilities are so clean, my room was also cleaned to perfection with fresh towels everyday. Coffee machine outside the room too in the communal area is great. Lovely hosts too who are very responsive!

We booked this place because parking was included. There is included parking, but it is a 15 minute walk up a steep hill at the sister property. Not a deal breaker but it would have been good to know the parking was off site when we booked. Says "B&B" but unless breakfast is just a nespresso machine, we didn't find and breakfast portion. We would stay again.

Very cool space in what I assume is an old church. There is a large common area that is super cool, and the room itself has a good sized bathroom with large tub. King size bed is two twins pushed together and there is a bunk bed. Super cool mural on the ceiling. The location is great.

The Kitchen was closed, so there was no option to warm up food if any. There was a coffee machine in the living room area but it was not working. Nothing serious or it was not something which could make us feel negative about the place, but still it would have been good if these are working

Amazing decor inside. The room was spacious and it was perfect for a family of 4. The location was nice if you are traveling by car so you dont need to worry about entering the ZTL. Free parking was available in their other facility (Hotel Villa Betania) which was 10 min walk away, but it was very good option as the car was safe. The staff in hotel was very friendly and give me map and suggestion about the city, it was very nice of him.

Our room was next to the entrance and for that reason was a bit noisy. I was expecting a better coffee machine, the one available made only espresso. In the room only tea was available.

Loved the spacious room and the balcony. Location is perfect for a nice morning walk to the city centre. Place is sorrounded by bars and restaurants. 10 minutes walking to Boboli Gardens and Palazzo Pitti. Appreciate also the free water in the room

A great hotel located on the heart of the city. From here it took 10 minutes to get to Ponte Vecchio. The hotel inside has an amazing Italian vibe, you kinda feel at home All facilities were nice. Overall, a perfect option to stay in Florence! Highly recommend! Thank you Antica Porta!

For some reason, the bathroom was emitting a slight sewage smell the first day, but the room was very clean, so it might have been the old pipes of the historic building?

A lovely and relaxing atmosphere with very kind staff. I see a number of poor reviews about the wifi, but they seemed to have fixed it (or maybe added a second network so it reached all the rooms?) as it was totally fine when I was there.

Great room in a old-style building. High ceilings, big rooms, classy common area with coffee machine. Very pleasant stay, 20min walk away from the main bridge. Not a crowded area to stay, so was quiet.

The location was great. about 800m from the heart of the city. Also the neighborhood is great. The room was very nice and clean. We did not meet the hosts, but communication in Whatsapp was just fine.

Location is amazing for the price. Absolute bargain and the rooms were excellent! The lounge room was breathtaking and the adventure into Florence on foot was fun! We discovered that we were very close to the Boboli Gardens which has THE best view of Florence It's a must! We stayed an extra night than planned which the hotel kindly assisted us in moving rooms very easily The communication was attentive and helpful We would recommend and also stay here again
