I have been on a two month vacation traveling Europe. France, Switzerland, Germany, and Italy. I always try and find family-owned hotels because they tend to take care of customers more than large corporate hotel chains. I was very fortunate to find Hotel La Tosca on Capri. It is family owned. The hotel has been in Ettore’s (the husband) family and you can tell the pride he takes in owning the family hotel. He and his wife (Michelle) are such nice and professional people. The hotel is modern, great A/C and wifi. The rooms are large and comfortable and the hotel is a 5-10 min walk to the city center which is nice to get away from the crowds and noise. It has been my favorite place to stay as I am ending my vacation. The hotel accommodation is fantastic and the view from the front patio is such a beautiful view. They serve breakfast out on the patio in the mornings, but what makes this hotel my favorite, is the owners. Ettore goes out of his way to make sure your stay is exceptional. He will offer to make dinner reservations and arrange luggage transfers and will sit with you and ask what is your perfect Capri vacation, and will try and make that happen. What great owners. I planned 9 days on Capri to hike and scuba dive and I am so glad I found this hotel. I have hiked so many trails on this island and I have hiked by so many hotels and I would not want to stay any where but Hotel La Tosca. You can’t go wrong staying at Hotel La Tosca. When I come back to Capri I will stay here again. You enter as customers but you leave as friends. Thank you to Ettore, Michelle, and all the wonderful and friendly staff. The hospitality was excellent. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. They made the place feel like home. The hotel is centrally located within walkable distance to different places in the islands. The room is comfortable and clean. I was allowed to check in early and provided with lovely welcome refreshment. All staff is friendly and helpful. Michele is a great host. I had a lovely conversation when enjoying the beautiful view from the hotel terrace.

Everything was perfect. Before arriving, I was given detailed instructions on how to get to the property. It is perfectly located, just a few minutes from the main square, away from the crowds. The entrance is very welcoming, and my room was very clean and well-maintained. It even had a balcony, which was a nice surprise. The breakfast on the terrace was the perfect start to the day, with a beautiful view. What makes the hotel very special is the kindness of the staff. They were all very helpful - they provided excellent tips on how to spend my time on the island, and helped me book my return ferry to Naples. Thank you dear Ettoro and the rest of the staff at La Tosca for your hospitality and the unforgettable experience at beautiful Capri! 🍋 🌺

Members of the staff were really nice to us. When I asked to recommend a restaurant nearby for us, the owner not just recommended us a very good place but he helped us to book a nice table on the teras. We travelled with our one year old little daughter and everybody was very kind with her. So to summarise my review this is very good place for everyone I highly recommend it.

Our stay at the hotel was excellent, and the owner made the strongest impression on us - an extremely kind, polite, welcoming and responsive person. He sent us a super detailed description of how to get to the hotel. We felt welcome upon our arrival. He personally took care of our comfort and gave valuable advice on places worth visiting. The room was clean and cozy, and the atmosphere was very calm and pleasant. We definitely felt a personal touch, which is rarely found in larger hotels. The bedding was particularly nice—soft and inviting, making for a restful night's sleep. What truly stood out was the staff. They were incredibly helpful and kind, going out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Their warm hospitality added a special touch to my experience.
