Rosanna and family are a genuine and generous Italian family who treat each guest as family. She even helped me resolve a pesky parking ticket (not easy to pay in Italy) and made calls to the local municipality to help me. The property is really magical and a rare gem. The gardens were past their seasonal prime but still full of life and energy. The food was consistently amazing. The breakfasts were generous with incredible home made pastries, eggs, toast, orange juice and as much coffee as you need. And the home made fig jam (picked fresh off the fig trees) was the best jam I've ever had, ever. I actually was inspired to make my own based off of theirs. I didn't even like figs before eating her family's jam. It was really that good. We loved meeting people from around the world over family style dinners and felt welcomed by all the guests. They were all return guests from various European countries, returning year over year because its that great The home is filled with art and artifacts from around the world with a comfortable library filled with art books and a sweet cat. The pool was refreshing and clean and the property was well cared for.

Loved our host Rosanna, a lovely lady who takes care of her guests with all her heart, was helpful finding suitable hiking spots, pointing out restaurants and is a great cook on top of that! If you enjoy the fairytale-style charm of living on the edge of the woods in a house covered in ivy surrounded by an enchanting garden, guarded by a huge (and also very kind) Bergsmasco Sheepdog, you’ll love it too - thanks again, dear Rosanna, for having us!
