The mattress, most of the furniture is really old/used, you can hear the neighbors.

The view from the balcony, the kindness of the staff, the beautiful suroundings, the nice Thaï restaurant and view from it. As well as the good breakfast (eggs, croissant, yogourt with müesli and fresh fruits, ham &cheese) All these balanced the 'drawbacks'. We paid ~156€ for the room with balcony which we think was quite correct (wouldn't pay more)

Love the location. You feel at home here. The chef was amazing. Very personal and came to our table to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Make sure you eat dinner and breakfast here. The staff was very welcoming and made us feel at home. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Beautiful views.

The staff are excellent and friendly, Quick easy check in, Large spacious room with a bath, Seating area inside and on the balcony overlooking the amazing view of the Dolomites. Easy to connect Wi-Fi. Breakfast was delicious, Not buffet style but from a menu which you can select everything, All ingredients were top quality, you can have a choice of fried or scrambled eggs. There`s a kiosk outside which sells delicious ice cream, If its closed you get get some from the restaurant. I`m pleased I booked this for my return journey, Looking forward to another stay, Definitely the best stay of my Tour.

The property does not have an elevator, which isn't surprising for this style of guesthouse, so it’s a good idea to pack smart. The check-in process is also quite informal, which enhances the overall feeling of staying with welcoming friends rather than at a large hotel.

We were thoroughly impressed with every aspect of our stay at LAKE & RIVER Hotel. The view from the property is absolutely insane, breathtaking in the best way possible. It's conveniently located, not a long journey from Bolzano and just a short distance from the stunning Lake Carezza, making it an incredibly worthwhile choice. Our room was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and a great bathroom. The breakfast, while not a buffet, was of excellent quality, delicious, and the owners personally ensure you are well-fed and happy. The highlight of their hospitality was when we arrived at 2 PM, long after all local restaurants had closed for lunch, and the owner graciously prepared a wonderfully delicious Thai meal just for us. Honestly, it is genuinely difficult to find anything to dislike about our stay. The experience was overwhelmingly positive and exceeded all our expectations. If anything, future guests should know that the hotel feels more like staying with welcoming friends than a typical, impersonal hotel, which for us was a major advantage. It is the perfect place for travelers who value a peaceful atmosphere, spectacular scenery, and true, heartfelt hospitality. We would absolutely recommend it.

Location is very goog, you can park at the hotel and take short walk to the Lake Caressa. Room is clean and comfort. Breakfast is great, full set with good quality and delicious. Staff are very friendly with warm welcome.

Coffee/ tea in the room was missing. Bathrooms were fine, but they need a makeover soon. There is no elevator to be kept in mind if you are having knee problems or have heavy luggage.

Breakfast was fresh and of very good quality and quantity. It was included in the deal, and we enjoyed it a lot. We also dined at the restaurant during our stay, and I must say that the Thai cuisine offered was excellent, particularly sitting on an Italian mountain top. The hotel manager was kind enough to offer us an additional room at minimum cost since the family room we booked was a bit tight for 3 adults and 1 kid.

We loved our stay at the Lake & River Hotel because of the location, staff hospitality and the cleanliness of our room. The accommodation was very nice and the food we had for dinner and breakfast were very good. 100% recommendable.
