Only note - check what floor your room is as our was the ground floor. Meaning you couldnt really sleep with the wooden shades open (or at least we wouldnt). Perhaps see to get a room on a higher floor in order to get some natural light if that matters to you.

The stay was amazing. Very comfortable, spacious room and great amenities! The host was lovely in keeping us informed, sending information on how to arrive to the apartments and even on the last day left us some wonderful pastries as a surprise for our parting gift (came in quite handy!) Additionaly the AC works great, the coffee machine in the room makes some lovely coffee (you are given a lot of capaules for coffee) and the shower has great pressure and plenty of hot water. Location is also superb and very central located in a very hip neighbourhood with amazing options for food/gelato/drinks.

We had a lovely stay at Le Porte Antiche in Palermo! My husband and daughter really enjoyed the experience, and they were really impressed by the beauty of the city—Palermo is truly spectacular. Beautiful property with modern and functional furniture. The location is just meters within the ZTL a few steps away form restaurant, bars and the many historical hotspots in Palermo. Beautifully decorated apartment. Have everything we need. Close to all the sites and next to the marina. Lorenzo got us the pass for ZTL zone while we were there. Thank you so much for making our stay a memorable one.

Need to have lights on during the day but this is typical for most inner city apartments.

Apartment is very clean and modern. Parking was on the street and we left the car for the two day stay. We spent the two days walking the old city. The old city centre is about 15 minutes casual walk from the apartment. It is easier to walk than get the tourist bus. The area was quiet and safe with plenty of eating places nearby. Photos are accurate about the property. One of our best stays.

The first night we unfortunately arrived two hours later (after midnight) than we agreed to with the host, so the PIN code was not valid anymore and we couldn't get the host on the phone. Just be careful with the validity interval and everything should be fine.

Everything was great, the host really put in an effort to make us feel comfortable. The apartment is really nice for a couple. The design is very Sicilian and homey. There are also many restaurants, bars and gelaterias nearby.

Nothing much to say for negatives except that it was a semi-basement apartment so the air quality was noticeably poor but combined with A/C it was much better.

It was great in all aspects except some nights there was noise from within the building. Could hear conversations, crying child, bathroom fan (??) in another apartment could be heard in our bathroom. In such an old building it makes sense that this could be an issue. Nice balcony doors could be closed up to keep out the traffic and other noise from outside the building

It was clean, there was a nice sized fridge, practical kitchen, nice coffee maker, filtered water, washing machine. Great location, close to so many sites, the port, gardens. Very tasty barbecue chicken restaurant about a minute from apartment. Very popular with locals - Cala Pollo & Co. - could have barbecued chicken with fried sides or middle eastern style donair with salad. Delicious. Lorenzo our host was responsive and helpful.

Basement location of this appointment makes it a bit dark. Nearby street parking is a kind of lottery in terms of free space.

I couldn't fault it, Had everything I needed, and a great bed too.

A lovely modern spacious studio in a perfect location; easy walking distance to all the main tourist areas and port. Plenty of great places for food and drink in the neighbourhood, not to mention a few local goodies from the host. A big plus is the abilty to park outside for free. I'd definitely stay here again.
