Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomVery satisfied
Ideal location in the centre of Rome. Good value for money. Good sized rooms and really clean. Staff really helpful and welcoming. Excellent breakfast delivered to our room instead of buffet style. Very close to the Pantheon. We arrived `out of hours` for the reception but an automatic system in operation to allow access from mobile phone works well.

IrelandNothing but the only thing was the terrace (which looked lovely) was closed while we were there so that was a shame but apart from that we had a great trip.
Close to everything we wanted to see. The breakfast was good. Close to loads of restaurants and bars too

United States of AmericaWe needed to go through a second door to the room we stayed. We were told not to lock this door (no reason was given), but someone did while we were out, and we got stranded trying to reach the hotel staff for 30 minutes. We could not reach the hotel staff even at the number given for an after-hour service/emergency. Fortunately someone opened the door from inside and we were able to get inside, but we were so concerned that we would not be able to get inside all night and need to find a different accommodation.
The location was amazing. So close to Pantheon, Chiesa di Sant'lgnazio di Loyola, Trevi Fountain and many other sites. Lots of restaurants, cafes and small supermarket around the hotel was also a big plus. It was pretty quiet for everything surrounds this hotel. Staff was helpful and they helped us book a taxi to the airport at the end of our stay.

Nice hotel excellently placed in a quiet side street next to the Pantheon ( the area is the best place to stay in rome in our opinion) lots of very good restaurants down the streets next to the Pantheon. Staff were very nice, room was well equipped and perfectly cleaned with new towels every morning . Tea ,coffee and a kettle! Nice !

United KingdomWhen we arrived, we had a difficulty of finding an entrance to the hotel as there wasn’t any sign with hotel name on it. It just a big front door with a lot off door bell buttons and the one for the hotel was at the bottom. Also the view from the room was poor. Closed in 4 walls and the rubbish bins around them.
The location of the hotel is really good. It is situated in the city centre next to the Pantheon within the walking distance to all the major sightseeing attractions. Room size was good and spacious with a really nice bathroom. Hotel was clean and fresh and staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back and stay there again.

AustraliaWe arrived at night but hotel main door was locked. We had instructions sent to us on how to access the hotel. Something different for us as we are used to hotel lobby opened all the time. There was nobody working at night at 10pm when we got there. Unlocking with combinations required connection to the hotel wifi and one needs a smart phone. I think it would be difficult for elderly folks who are not tech savvy. Unlocking the room door also uses the phone to tap. The room was small and setup was not very spacious even though it was for 3 people. The bottled water in the room was not complimentary. There’s no porter service to help with bags. As breakfast was served in the room, the desk was very small to put a big tray of food for 3 adults. We had to put somethings on the floor. There’s no room phone. We had to ring the main hotel line to ask for hot chocolate that they’d missed for breakfast. Since we were tourists with our Australian phones, we had to dial internationally using our mobile to get connected to the hotel. Just be wary of the extra effort you’d need to stay alert for if you are arriving at night.
Our first time in Rome. Booked this hotel after reading reviews about location. The location was indeed convenient. We could walk everywhere and there were eateries and shops all around. Staff was friendly. It’s not a big hotel with all amenities but it was manageable for my family of 3 adults. Breakfast was served in the bedroom with items selected from a list the day before. We took taxi from airport straight to the main door.

United States of AmericaYou could hear talking and walking in the hallways. Our room was in the center of the hotel and that's where the maids would leave their carts and you could hear them talking. I just turned up the speaker on my white noise on my phone and could tune it out. Our room only had a large bathtub, no shower. It was fine, and we managed, but some may not prefer this. There are rooms with showers, my kid's rooms both had showers.
The location was perfect, it was close enough to everything we needed, restaurants, convenient store, sights (Pantheon), shopping, etc. Our room was a very nice size and very comfortable. The bed was comfortable, the amenities were nice (drinks, tea kettle, shampoo, soap) and it was very clean. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel because you had to order it ahead of time.

United States of AmericaThe walls aren’t as thick as I’d hoped. I could hear staff outside having conversations, and I could hear the guests in the room next to me talking, laughing and “OTHER” things. All as if they were in my own room late at night and early in the morning. One morning I ordered breakfast for a certain time and it was brought to me 45 minutes early (before I had even woken up). So not only was I woken early by staff delivering breakfast 45 minutes before my time, my breakfast had gotten cold by the time I had fully woken and was hungry enough to eat.
The hotel is a charming 17th century building. It’s in a great location and walkable distance to many shops, restaurants, Pantheon, Trevi, Colosseum, and other sites. Bed was comfortable and my room had a nice view of the historic wall that was once an ancient bath. The tall ceilings and windows that opened for the street view was nice. Staff was friendly.

HungaryBedroom was very small. Not enough wardrobe space. We were 2 in one double room with 2 big suitcases and we did not have space to open them. The fact that you need to get up from the bed to switch off the lights is also a bit annoying.
Excellent location, clean room and common areas, very helpful staff. Bathroom was great and the shower gel they provided was amazing too! Breakfast in bed every morning was a lovely surprise 🤩

United KingdomThe toilet did not flush so they moved us to another room, the next day an engineer fix the problem and they moved us back again to the room, so it was a bit annoying. They should check the rooms prior the guest arrived.

United KingdomNothing, all I’d say is that the terrace was under refurbishment and we didn’t know it wouldn’t be available which meant there was no outside space and had to eat breakfast in our room.

AustraliaThe room was small, and the main problem was the bed. Very hard, with a lump in the middle. I had to sleep on the very edge of one side. The price for one night was high, so the expectation was too. Warning also, if you are in the second of two buildings, there is no lift, and one steep staircase up to the rooms, so hopefully your bag/s aren't too heavy, and of you have help.
The location was sensational. Right in the heart of the Pantheon district, bustling with restaurants, bars, shops, and a short exciting walk to the Trevi Fountain. The building itself was very interesting, you just wanted to immerse yourself in its history. Breakfast was excellent. Delivered to the room on time, with exactly what was ordered and more.

CanadaNothing to complain about.
The location is excellent, I love that neighborhood. Great restaurants, walking distance to most of the sights in Rome. The hotel is in a beautiful old building with very high ceilings. The bed and pillows very comfortable, good size bathroom, and an antique closet. Soundproof walls as well. And there is an elevator.
