Silvio front of house was excellent, very knowledgeable of area and places to visit. Our room was ready prior to check in and we were able to access room. Excellent location, the whole hotel is designed in the Liberty style, popular in Italy from 1895 to 1905, very comfortable, and Silvio really went out of his way to help us with everything, including restaurants, sightseeing -everything.

Considering the current pricing, it's worth noting that comparable accommodations are available in central London or New York.

Staff provides attentive service to the guests, and the rooms offer a unique, historical ambiance. Very close to the city centre and you can arrange for a parking for 20€ a day.

What's not to like

Lovely hotel with unique style and very highly level of service. Situated in a quiet street but only two minutes from a lively street of good street food restaurants. Five minutes walk from the high street, close to the Bellini Park. Parking is easy 100 m. from the hotel. We stayed 5 days and can give our very best recommendations

The staff was extremly helpful and made our stay in Catania fantastic, although we had to wait for our luggage from the airport an extra day.

This was a classic Italian hotel where the hospitality was palpable. We were warmly greeted every time we returned and the rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. I liked that if you wanted eggs in the breakfast room, they made them fresh for you.

The outside appearance of the hotel and the cleanliness of its outside surroundings looks different than the picture above.

Bed was very comfortable and room was very clean. We requested no feather pillows and my request was perfectly handled. Antonio and staff were very kind and took very good care of us. Great pre communication through WhatsApp.

Great room fabulous helpful staff good location take a cab or Uber driving is crazy. Add great breakfast excellent cappuccino just a good pick for first and last night in beautiful Sicily.

Breakfast was excellent. Location was very good. We got a taxi from the airport for €40. The staff were also extremely helpful. Gave a very good recommendation of an area to go for to look for dinner.

You need to be ready for a lot of walking, which was fine for us but to get to the main sights, restaurants, and stores you will be going up and down a big hill and along a small street without much commerce. Single female travelers may not want to do the walk alone at night.

At check-in, reception gave us a map and marked it with recommended eateries. Hotel is beautifully decorated, and feels luxurious. Small and intimate, a true boutique hotel. Good location, to walk to main sights in historical city center.
