How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Verified reviewTo location was ideal for us. Literally 15 minute bus ride in to Taormina. And the bus stop was directly outside the apartment. The apartment is 2 minute walk to the coast. Very spacious and clean. Really good for a families or a couple.

Verified reviewThe apartment was just like the description and photos. Beautiful decorated, plenty of room for a couple and a third person with all the necessary requirements. Bed was very comfortable and good fresh linen. Although situated on a busy road once you are inside the apartment, it is very quiet with a second door blocking out any road noise. The second door doesn’t detract from the apartment appearance. Shower is also roomy and good water pressure. Washing machine, ironing board and iron are great inclusions. As you step out of the apartment there is a narrow footpath with the bus stop a couple of doors away. Care is needed but not a huge issue. Bus timetable and sightseeing information provided in the apartment. We stopped in a bus zone just across from the apartment to unload and reload our bags. A taxi was in the bus stop area for a few hours so it doesn’t seem to be a problem to use this space to quickly unload luggage. Parking area is an easy walk from the apartment and Angela very kindly went with us the first time to show us where it was. Parking was secure with cameras monitoring the area. Supermarket was a 10 minute walk and very easy to find. Great choice of products.
Suggestion - clothes washing liquid was the only thing missing in the apartment. It would be ideal to have it on arrival. Washing up detergent and sponge was included.

Verified reviewGreat location, easy to reach beaches and walking zone in vicinity (just a few steps from the spot), while other relevant destinations can be reached effortlessly as bus station is in front of the house. The apartment is spacious, well-structured and well-equipped. The owners are warm and hospitable people, promptly reacted in case of raised inquiry.

The apartment was spotless and it is close to the beach and th the promenade is packed with beautiful restaurants . Near the apartment there’s cafe which e enjoyed a super breakfast every morning We recommend it to anyone who want to visit Giardini Di Naxos and th whereabouts .One last thing is we had the bus stop close . Verified reviewThe apartment is very big and spacious, high ceilings, nice kitchen, washing machine. The location is very close to great restaurants and the water! About a 3 min walk to the water, 8 min walk to a grocery store, and its a nice walk towards the busier part of Gardini Naxos but its nice to be away from all the busyness. the hosts are very nice and met us there, showed us around, and then we followed him on a moped to the parking lot the recommend (10 euros per day). The Parking lot man drives you back to the apartment. everything went very well and we loved our stay. the WiFi is AMAZING! My husband and I travel and work and we were both working with video calls and it worked perfectly! the location is great for restaurants and the beach, close to everything and right next to a bus stop that takes you to Taormina!
The air conditioner is in the kitchen area so the bedroom is a little warmer. The apartment is on a busy street that can get a little noisy but I sleep with earplugs especially when traveling. My husband slept fine without earplugs. They have a door that really blocks noise. The parking lot they recommend is about a 5 min drive away but works great if you want to leave your car there your whole stay. there are also spots right outside the apartment in the blue lines if you are lucky enough to find a spot there for a shorter stay.
