How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It’s a bit far away from everything
The hotel is super cosy and very comfortable. The staff is super nice. Breakfast is very good. Very good attention to details that you can see in the quality of the bed, the bathroom amenities and the food.

The matrasses are in need of replacement.
Loved the friendly staff and their attention for detail the most, especially the lady at the reception and the lady at the breakfast. Quiet area, no noise from the street. Breakfast was really nice. Loved the freshly sliced fruits. Everything is clean.

The Restaurant and Bar need to be expanded or split the Fine Dining and normal Bar. Some guests were not appreciative of their surroundings.......
Had an excellent room with Roof terrace, Views were absolutely stunning across Rome including the Basiliaca in the distance.Very comfortable indeed. Staff were extremely pleasant- especially Alexia, Alexandro and Stefano. Would definitely stay again.

I would suggest a family diner restaurant
The hotel is an absolute gem! The employees were very nice and courteous. The breakfast was exquisite. The room lovely and very comfortable.

the room was an odd assortment of levels and doors, pricey for the room quality. the room service food was poor.
the breakfast was excellent and the service good. the location is a bit outside the main centre. beds very comfortable. the staff are very nice and accommodating.

A relatively long walk from Piazza del Popolo and the shopping area.
Friendly staff. They did whatever I asked them to do and gave me touristic advices.

Breakfast in hotel in all of Italy is the same. Everyday was basically the same dishes. They have a Michelin star chef here but we didn't try because the breakfast didn't wow us.
Staff is wonderful here and makes you feel like VIP. Excellent breakfast and room service. Location wasn't near anything but that's also a good thing. We felt safe here.

We had a family room but it the conditioning system was making a noice all night long. We reported back and another room was given. Again the noise was present. The heating in the second changed room did not function also.
The hotel is very well located. The breakfast is good. Staff is very helpfull.

the location is a bit far away from the centre the shower was very old and they renewed it. however the bathrooms need to be restored soon.

The room was on the small side, but in central Rome you've got to accept that.
The staff, restaurant and breakfast are excellent. The location is great - away from the madding crowd and a 20min walk through the park to a main shopping and tourist precinct.

A little tired and dilapidated around bathrooms
Breakfast very good. Location a little remote for single woman. Staff are the biggest asset to this hotel and they went out of their way to look after clients

My only caveat is I paid for a view room and the view was mostly obscured by trees and other buildings, so ask about that if relevant to you.
Great little place in a nice neighborhood-- great location if you don't mind crossing the Villa Borghesi Park to get to Piazza Populi, about a 15 minute walk. Breakfast was great and so was the dinner we had at the hotel, staff fantastic!
