There was no fridge or kettle in the room. That would be awesome to keep things fresh or to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning seeing that they served no breakfast. Then one could supply your own coffee and refreshments. Also there was no safe to keep your passport and money so I carried it with me.

It was very central and absolutely close to everything and all the main attractions in Florence.

The view was not great but not a big deal since I hardly stayed in the hotel.

This is the second time I've been at this hotel. The location is great. Close to the railway station (about a 5/6 min walk). Close to the city Centre, shops, bars, restaurants. The room was spacious. Comfortable bed and pillows. It was clean. Reception very nice.

Life is not available from entry. Not recommended for people who can not use stairs to walk up to first-floor at reception. To reach at reception you need climb 24 to 25 stairs.

Winter blankets are not covered in a bed cover, which seems to be a standard in Italy? That is why I slightly degraded my review. Everything felt clean though.

All staff are super helpful and kind - thanks Dominica, Sabina and Roberto! Location is perfect - 3-7 min walk to everywhere you need. Facilities are all in working order.

We liked the location which was walking distance to everything that we wanted to see. The rooms were not large but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower hot. Reception was friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

Rooms were cleaned daily, but I would't say it was clean after cleanning. Due to central location it may be noisy at night, but closing windows and shutters signifficantly reduces noise. One of the main minuses for me is lack of kettle available for the guests and no small fridge in the room.

Hotel Lorena is located in the city center, 300 m from Santa Maria Novella. Staff is very friendly and proffesional. Hotel needs a general renovation and probably for this reason it's one of the cheapest hotels in Florence.

its an old hotel and many facilities are old, the hair dryer was from another century, some parts of the room were dusty. also when I was booking it said that room had a private bathroom, however it had only a private place for washing hands, the bathroom was shared in the floor
