The fact that I had to do a 20mns walk from the apartment twice to the main office to collect the keys and when I did they told me I needed my passport to check in so had to return. It would be helpful to have know that at the star.

but truly disappointed that we are sure we left our wallet in the sheets on the bed but they say they did not find it. I know its not the owners fault and we should have checked before we did the check out but still quite disappointed that our tracker says the last place it was with us was there but it “vanished.”

Great location, especially for those with a car. We parked outside on the street for free with no problems. Quiet and safe residential area, yet very easy to walk into the old city from the apartment. The rooms are spotlessly clean and of a good size with high ceilings. Bed is comfortable and extra pillows and blankets are provided. Good shower with plentiful hot water.

We had to wait around half an hour for someone to arrive to give us the key to the place (you collect the key from a different place then walk/drive to the apartment close by), but then the person was nice and welcoming.

Apartment was clean, bedroom very spacious. Location is superb, just a short walk from the city walls, and a lovely walk at that.

Be careful if you park in front of the apartment. There is a street sign (difficult to see) that should tell you that you are not allowed to park at a certain daytime because of street cleaning. We got an expensive ticket. You better park in the parking area left of the apartements block.

A good place to explore Tuscan Towns and not too far to go swimming/surfing/snorkeling. Nice apartements with friendly staff

Everything. Very quiet place and very close to the old town. The apartments are spacious and have everything you need for a short stay. Apartments are cleaned and towels changed daily.

We were initially disappointed on walking into the accommodation. When booking, we thought the apartment would be a lot bigger, and have a separate bedroom (not just a partition) and a living area with a couch. There were many photos on the Bookings site, and we didn't understand that this apartment, studio as it turned out, would be so tiny. Yes, we should have read more carefully, but even so it wasn't clear at all. Considering our previous apartment in Rome was over twice the size with separate bedroom, kitchen, living and dining areas, plus balcony, washing machine and much more, for exactly the same price... I don't think our expectations were too high in Lucca. The bathroom at this studio was especially tiny. Awkward to get in and out, and for anyone of a larger build, entry through the shower door into the tiny shower could actually be impossible!

Check-in was easy and efficient, and despite our initial disappointment at the size and facilities of the studio apartment, we enjoyed our stay. The location is ideal, in a fairly quiet area about 10 minutes walk outside the town walls. Lucca is a good base for day trips to surrounding towns and countryside such as up the valley which was lovely. Lucca is a lovely town with lots of beautiful architecture, lovely shops, friendly people, and some nice restaurants (also some not...) Walking around the town walls is a pleasure, especially in the early morning or at twilight. Parking outside the accommodation is easy and free. While we wouldn't book this studio again, I understand that the other 3 apartments on the building are more spacious and comfortable, and the location is great.
