The toilet leaked a bit, breakfast was a bit poor and check-out was too early, on the website it says 11am but in reality - at 10am we had to vacate the room. Although usually in hotels check in at 14 and check out at 12, here check in at 16 and check out at 10, strange.

The room was soundproofed, I could not hear the noise of the street under the windows, which is a big plus! I liked the staff, it was easy to communicate both before check-in and during the process, all very friendly. The location of the hotel is very good, not far from the centre, right on the lake shore, there is a small balcony in the room. The room is clean and smells good, everything you need is there. It was very nice that the hotel staff went out of their way to reschedule the booking for a couple of days! This is also a big plus!

The carpet in our bedroom and on the stairs and hallway was stained which was ashame as the rest of the room was clean. It would have been nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom

Smelt a little musty however all surfaces very clean. Newish cabinetry. We found the walk to train station was a bit difficult with small roller suitcases on cobblestone streets. Other reviews say it’s an easy walk.

There was a constant noise through the night, that seemed to be nearby either from a generator or the construction materials relating to working going in on the adjacent building.

The staff are really friendly and welcoming, the location is excellent on the water side of lake Como. It is a short walk to some great restaurants and bars. It is good value for money and nice and quiet guaranteeing a good nights sleep

We spent only one night here on our journey through northern Italy and were originally disappointed that our room was at the back of the hotel (a view of a school and school yard) rather than the front (with a view of the lake and park). In the end were happy with the room because the balconies at the front are much smaller and the street at the front is very noisy. For a budget hotel, the apartment was exceptionally clean (thank you cleaning staff). Breakfast was fine. Staff were courteous.

Poor quality breakfast, little choice, although the mini pastries were good. Staff were slow to replenish anything that ran out. Bedroom was large enough, but the bed was hard and lumpy, the a/c unit was behind long curtains, so you could not feel the benefit. The room was tired and bland. Bathroom seemed new and was fine, although there was no fan.

The place is in great location to travel around lake Como, have a nice sidewalk across the street to walk around. The interior of hotel is a bit outdated, but for the price it's ok. The room is clean, the AC was working.

This hotel is in a great location overlooking the lake. There are many facilities within a minute’s walk. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic balcony with our room and a comfortable spacious room. We enjoyed breakfast and had a great stay

The only small issue was the AC in the room. One could get it to work, but it would fill the room with a rather absurd smell, so we never turned it on.

The hotel staff was wonderful. They were professional, thoughtful and genuinely friendly. We asked for an additional table for the room, to set up a computer. Shortly after, a table had indeed appeared in our room. The table was heavy, so this cannot have been an easy feat. The breakfast buffet was also a stand-out. The food was simple, but delicious.

The room is modern, and ours overlooked the lake and the road, which gave us a great view of all the action. On the weekend, we sat on the balcony eating ice cream watching the people go by while enjoying the breeze off the lake. It's a quick walk to the center to enjoy restaurants and attractions yet far enough away to not be disturbed by it all. It's also a quick walk to the train station and ferry if you want to go explore other regions of the lake.

The hotel does not have elevator.

Rooms are confortable, clean and with a great view to Lake Como. Breakfast was good, with cold cuts, cheese, pastries, bread and juices.

The breakfast was poor. There were no vegetables. Coffee is good but not strong enough. The water in the shower flows slowly and takes a long time to adjust to warm (coming either cold or too hot).

Location is good. Rooms are clean and personal is helpful and friendly. The bed was a little hard (but it was only for me, because of the pregnancy) City center and Old town are nearby. 15-20 min walk from railway station. Across the street from the lake.
