The hotel is next to the town centre.

I found it a bit pricey for what it offers. The installations are a bit old fashion, the breakfast could have more variety, and I missed some amenities such as a kettle in the room. But for a night or two is really ok. The staff was not overly friendly, but was correct.

The hotel is next to the town centre. The room is big enough and the bed is very comfortable.

My perennial complaint - the shower-head that won't stay where it's put! Shower fittings are comparatively cheap and easy to replace, yet hardly any hotel seems capable of checking them.

Good-sized comfortable room. Enclosed on-site private parking. Easy walk to city centre and restaurants.

Dark room, although spacious. A/C not easily visible. Awkward step up from living space to facilities. In need of refreshment. Location in the center of town but still a long walk from Mantova's historic district. This was one of the few hotels available during the annual Chamber Muisic Festival.

    Accommodating staff.

Hotel was very clean, but decor and style out of another decade - may not be for everyone, though the time travel aspect may be fun - Air conditioning did not work so had to open windows to compensate for stuffy heating. Breakfast was of much lower quality than expected, compared to other another hotel I stayed at on the same trip.

Excellent for a quick stay close to the city center. Hotel was easy enough to find and access, walking distance to city center and sights and restaurants. Though it had parking options we opted for a nearby parking deck which cost about the same.

An awful lot. Several things went wrong in our room: The shower broke down and the blind failed. Repairs were undertaken with reluctance and very offensive language by the owner. No hint of any apology. His surly attitude ruined our holiday.

Noisy and needs modernisation. A bit stuck in a time-warp !!!! The bathroom had obviously been renovated but the room looked as though it hadn't been touched since the early 1900s. Bare wooden floors didn't help the noise problem. The price was quite high for what it is.

Close to town which was useful. The staff tried their best and were nice. The impression was an elderly family run hotel. Private parking but chargeable at €10/day and awkward.

My only real suggestion for improvement would be to not line dry the towels. Understand this hotel has no ice at all. No mini-bars or safe in rooms. Probably no a/c, no sound proof like all old Italian buildings. Doesn't serve food except for breakfast.

Staff very pleasant although not all speak English. Great location on quiet street. Feels safe. Someone at the front desk 24/7. Small lobby bar for excellent coffee, water, soda, drink.
